Step back and take a look at the way you lead and how effective it is. Open yourself up to influences different from your own. Is your Leadership style Diverse? Is it Inclusive? In this episode, I wanted to share some thoughts I’ve been having about our abilities and skill set. In life, when we are faced with situations that we are comfortable with, we instinctively manage the moments like a pro. We “lean in” ... and take action. We have the skills and knowledge to get through those “small things” in life, because we do them often. We’ve conditioned ourselves to just “Do”. However, when a situation is unfamiliar, we back away from the moment because fear sets in. What we don’t know.... is that... we know... how to deal with the situation. We’ve been doing it our entire life. When you breakdown the skills that we know, they can be applied to the things we don’t know. It can be scary, trust me.... I know. :-) And as I start to practice these things... I want you too, to have the courage and faith... to Lean In. You (we’ve) Got This!
