  • Ep. 61 Mermaids and Anneliese Michel

In this week's episode Sandra talks about the legend of Mermaids. Mermaids or merfolk (mermen and mermaids) are defined as having the upper body of a human and the tail of a fish. It turns out Mermaids can be dated back to the sixth century and it is rumored that Christopher Columbus even saw mermaids on his voyage in the Caribbean. Today they can be found all over the world and are known in many cultures to be considered a bad omen. Thanks to popular culture most people know of mermaids because of movies like Disney's The Little Mermaid, and Splash.

Then, Danielle discusses the twisted and dark story of Anneliese Michel, a young woman who was convinced that demons possessed her in 1970s Bavaria. What started as an epilepsy diagnosis progressed to inconceivable horrors at the hands of people who should have been protecting her. Parts of her story inspired the 2005 film, The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

  • Ep. 60 Somerton Man and Ancient Ram Inn

Welcome back! Danielle talks about the mysterious and still unknown identity of the Somerton Man. He was found deceased, propped up in front of a wall at Somerton Beach in Adelaide, Australia in 1948. There was no identification found on the body. A note was discovered sewn into his pants pocket which read, "Tamam Shud", Persian for it's finished. So many suspicious details were found that it made investigators believe his death was a homicide, likely a result of being poisoned. His body was exhumed last year to run DNA tests in an attempt to uncover new evidence.

In this week's episode Sandra talks about the Ancient Ram Inn. Located in Gloucestershire UK the Ancient Ram Inn was built in 1145. It was first used to house masons, slaves and workers who were constructing the St. Mary's Church located directly across the street. Today it is used as an inn and is home to several spirits. One of them is supposedly a witch who was burned at the stake in the 1500's. You can actually request the room that she supposedly stayed in before being killed. That room is known as the "Witch's Room."

  • Ep. 59 Rockafellas and William Bradford Bishop, Jr

In this week's episode Sandra talks about one of the most haunted restaurants in Salem, MA. Rockafellas has had a long interesting history, from being the meetinghouse of the Salem First Church to a jewely store by the name of Daniel Low and Company. Today it is a local restaurant that holds events on the upper level and the restaurant is on the lower level. It is one of the most haunted restaurants because it is home to two ghosts. The Black Suited Minister and the Blue Lady. Find out how these two ghosts might be intertwined.

Later, Danielle talks about William Bradford Bishop, Jr, an educated former United States Foreign Service officer, fluent in five languages killed his family on March 1, 1976. He shortly vanished and likely fled the United States. On April 10, 2014, he was added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list. Learn about recent sightings from all around the globe.

This week Danielle discusses a recently solved cold case. The murder of 11-year-old, Melissa Tremblay. Her body was found the day after she went missing in Lawrence, MA in 1988. A former corrections officer was arrested last month as the primary suspect. Shoutout to Sandra for being on top of all the cold cases which are now being closed.

In this week's episode, Sandra talks about National Paranormal Day. Every day on May 3rd  everyone can celebrate and encourage discussion of paranormal activity and investigation. This day started back in 2013, and is slowly becoming more well known.

  • Ep. 56 Danvers State Hospital

Welcome back! Today Sandra and I combined efforts yet again the dive into the horrific history of Danvers State Hospital. Think of One Flew Over a Cuckoo's Nest, but without Jack Nicholson. Hear about the severe lack of funding and resources provided by the state of Massachusetts. This ultimately led to a sharp decline in the patients' care. The hospital fell into such bad shape that patients were buried in nearby cemeteries with numbers as markers instead of their own names.

Sandra talks about the ghosts of Danvers State Hospital. From seeing creepy shadows, to hearing disembodied voices. It is no secret that a place with such a sad history would still have patients that have not checked out yet.

Later, Danielle tells a gruesome and disturbing story. Carl Tanzler was a doctor who became obsessed with a patient suffering from tuberculosis. • Ep. 54 The Disappearance of Dorothy Forstein and Real Doppelganger Stories

Danielle covers the disappearance of Dorothy Forstein, an unsolved crime. Based out of Philadelphia, Dorothy did not possess any enemies and was well-liked by friends and neighbors. The only potential motive formulated by police was that Dorothy was abducted by someone who held a grudge against her magistrate husband, Jules Forstein. Four years after getting brutally attacked in her own home, Dorothy was never seen again after her daughter was woken in the night and saw her mother getting carried out of their house by an unknown man.

Later, Sandra talks about more haunted house stories from the popular website Reddit. However, this week has a theme, and that theme is Doppelgangers. Find out both the history of doppelgangers and form your own conclusions on whether or not you think that doppelgangers are evil, or just random people that may look like or are similar to yourself.
