Mary Ann Ziebell is the director of the Ozark Mountain Bigfoot Conference and a bigfoot investigator. Mary displayed an interest in cryptids from an early age. As a child, she haunted the local library in her small town and read every book about the subject. When not in school, she roamed the woods at her Granny’s house, where there was a place she always felt that she was watched. As an adult, she continued her interest through books and television shows. When she was told there were actual Bigfoot expeditions in Southern Missouri, she went home and told her husband, Robert, that this was something they were going to do. Robert was skeptical. On her first BFRO expedition, Mary Ann experienced a class A sighting, and it set the course for the rest of her life. She became an investigator for the BFRO and began leading expeditions in Missouri. Realizing there was no Bigfoot conference or festival in Missouri, she founded the successful and growing Ozark Mountain Bigfoot Conference. Her investigations have led her to lead future expeditions in Arkansas and Oklahoma. Robert has become more of a believer because Mary Ann seems to be one of those individuals that Sasquatches are drawn to. Those attending her expeditions, for the most part, seem to have some sort of experience.
