Today on the 5: A few nights ago I decided to try a sample of some recent Michael Bay material by watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows. I didn't exactly expect it to be good, but I was truly impressed at how stupendously bad it is.

Today on the 5: I've been playing a game from a few years back called Cloudpunk. It'a wonderfully atmospheric game that mixed the modern visual strings of cyberpunk with the classic themes the genre often covered.

Today on the 5: Over the weekend I watched a movie that's been on my watch list for a while. It's 1984's Alphabet City, and while it took a little longer than usual to hook me, once it did I had a really good time with it.

Today on the 5: Adobe is apparently going to release a "free" version of Photoshop on the web. This move is largely prompted by the increasingly polished alternatives to Photoshop, but it could also bring more people into the Adobe ecosystem.

Today on the 5: As part of the horror themed Tubi Tournament that I'm doing with Len Kabasinski, I watched a 2016 movie titled Rupture. It's a shame when you watch a potentially interesting movie get blown up by a bad ending.

Today on the 5: Over the weekend I watched The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent. It's a very meta movie centered around Nic Cage, and it worked a lot better for me than I expected it to.

Today on the 5: Have you heard any reviews about Top Gun: Maverick? If so, you likely heard or seen a variation of "You have to see it in a theater!" Even Tom Cruise has made it clear he feels people should see it that way. Too bad it's nonsense.
