Ozone Nightmare

Today on the 5: On a recent long drive I finally got around to listening to the audio book of Mr. Know-It-All: The Tarnished Wisdom of a Filth Elder. The one and only John Waters reads what is among the best memoirs I've ever heard.

Tonight I'm on location with writer / director Len Kabasinski, who has directed features like Curse Of The Wolf, Blood Prism, and Challenge Of Five Gauntlets. In this we're recording live in Burbank talking about his experiences filming his upcoming movie Pact Of Vengeance.

This week we're talking about the The Eternals and Dune (2021). Show music by HeartBeatHero and OGRE. Support the show!

Today on the 5: By now most people have probably heard at least a little about the controversy over Dave Chappelle and his Netflix special. I haven't given it much attention because I don't care what Dave Chappelle thinks about much of anything.

Today on the 5: I followed up Dune with something a little different, 1982's Alone In The Dark. It's a movie made between two different decades of horror with a curious cast, and it works as exactly that.

Today on the 5: The first half of the new Dune has been released, and I watched it on HBO Max. The hardest part of the review is honestly going to be trying to remember the movie.

Today on the 5: The Chucky TV series is now airing, and I've watched the first and second episodes. I was hoping for a fun extension of the movies, but the series adds some new things that are very clever.

This week we're talking about the DC Fandome, Babylon 5, Far Cry 6, and Killer Workout. Show music by HeartBeatHero and OGRE. Support the show!

Today on the 5: There's a new Resident Evil movie coming out next month called Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City. From everything I've seen, I'm somewhat optimistic that it will be ar least a watchable film!

Today on the 5: Over the weekend I watched a fairly well know B movie called Killer Workout. While it is a very poorly made film in many ways, I think it has tremendous remake potential.
