Today on the 5: I picked up the new Hideo Kojima game Death Stranding on release, and I've got a good chunk of time into it now. While I'm far from done with the game, I already can say for certain that I love it and I can understand why many other people will hate it.

Today on the 5: Apple recently announced a $2.5 billion donation try to help solve the homeless crisis in California. The announcement was met with harsh criticism from several directions, and while the underlying facts of those complaints may be valid, I wonder if the delivery mechanism does more harm then good.

Today on the 5: I watched the sequel to the unique Brazilian horror film At Midnight I'll Take Your Soul. The second movie is called This Night I Will Possess Your Corpse, and it is one of the best sequels I think I'ver seen.

Today on the 5: Google is in the process of buying Fitbit. In the near term, this doesn't change much, but in the long term it's tough to know whether this will be a positive e or negative outcome for Fitbit fans.

Today on the 5: I recently watched a horror movie from the late 70s called Tourist Trap. It was weird, creepy, wonderful, and I cannot believe it's not more highly regarded.

Today on the 5: Instagram has begun testing on hiding the like feature from posts on the platform, and there are discussions going on in other companies about taking similar action. I'm not sure how effective this will be in the long term.

Today on the 5: In the wake of Fallout 76 imploding under the weight of greed, playing The Outer Worlds is a wonderful change of pace. Obsidian has delivered a wonderfully rich world with a platform that has so far just allowed me to play how I want.
