Today on the 5: Thanks to Kanopy, I got to watch a magical little film called The Driller Killer. It's not a good movie, but you can see the framework of a better film inside it.

Today on the 5: Some new renders of the possible design of the OnePlus 7 shows a motorized front facing camera that would be hidden until needed. It's a polarizing approach, but I love it.

Today on the 5: The newest Shazam trailer is out with a little over a month to release. While I don't know if this movie will necessarily be for me, I like what I'm seeing. It seems like maybe DC is finally understanding that their heroes donate have to be miserable.

Today on the 5: Steven Spielberg is struggling to understand Netflix again, and people are riled up over it. If you consider Spielberg's age and his love of cinema, it's really no surprise.

Today on the 5: News reports are saying that Elizabeth Moss is being considered as the lead for a new entry in the Invisible Man series. I think this could be a potentially good restart for a possible connected monster verse, if done well.

Today on the 5: I discovered a magical little film on Kanopy called Death Bed: The Bed That Eats. While the film itself isn't all that good, it is mesmerizing to examine from a narrative storytelling perspective.
