Today on the 5: The Uvalde school shooting in back in the news as there have been new findings about what went wrong the police response. Predictably, this has people once again criticizing and defending the law enforcement officers involved in the incident. One particular defense of the first responders is particularly infuriating to me.

Today on the 5: As many people smarter than I had suspected from the start, we've now found out that the "machine generated" special imitating George Carlin was actualy written by a human bieng. That fact doesn't change the reality that the special isn't any good, but for me it somehow makes that failure even worse!

Today on the 5: Over the weekend I watched a bizarre TV movie from 1974 titled Killdozer. I had a bit of a mental struggle with it for a little while, but at some point I just decided to ride the weird wave this movie is cruising on.

Today on the 5: Robert Downey Jr recently appeared on Rob Lowe's Literally podcast and made some comments about how he thinks his time as Tony Stark is viewed. While you can certainly debate the quality of many Marvel films, but i'm not sure how you reasonably argue that Iron Man and RDJ's performance aren't pivotal to everything that came after.
