Today on the 5: While I'm not generally someone who enjoys Westerns, I saw one recently added to the Criterion Channel that sounded interesting. It's titled The Shooting, and it was a wonderfully different type of Western that I liked quite a bit.

The Daily 5: Netflix recently announced the end of their physical DVD service. Along with the upcoming changes to HBO Max, this has me wondering what our streaming future will look like.

Today on the 5: The third and likely final season of Star Trek: Picard ended last week. Did this latest attempt at continuing the Next Gerneration universe stick the landing?

Today on the 5: Warner Bros recently announced the rumored changes to the HBO Max streaming service, now called just Max. There wasn't a lot of positive response to it, which was predictable since the decline of HBO has seemed inevitable for a while now.

Today on the 5: Lando and I recently picked up Gotham Knights after playing a one hour free trial of the game. While the PS5 trial for the title wasn't completely worthless, it certainly wasn't a good representation of the game.

Today on the 5: I finally got around to reading Legion by William Peter Blatty. The book started out as the story that formed the basis of The Exorcist III. While the overall story is largely identical, I really enjoyed the book as an independent work. 

Today on the 5: Over the weekend I watched a film titled Neptune Frost. While it's definitely not going to be for everyone, I found it to be visually striking with a powerful group of themes.
