For those unable to understand French, this piece translates as summarised below:

All that you are!

In the gentle glow of the moon,

Your love, my fortunate pearl,

All that you are is my treasure,

Your smile, my evening star.

Your eyes, like gleams of emerald,

In their gaze, everything is deciphered,

Love, tenderness, ardent passion,

In your gaze, I find recent peace.

Your voice, a sweet melody to my ear,

In every word, your love unfolds the same,

The gentle whispers of your sincere heart,

Turn every moment with you into light.

All that you are is my happiness,

In your arms, I find warmth,

Your love, my precious treasure,

For you, my love, I am in love.

In the sweet radiance of your smile,

I find the strength to face everything, to grasp it all,

All that you are, my sweet half,

With you, I want to forever move forward.

In your arms, I find my refuge,

Your love is a delight for me,

All that you are, my tender friend,

and by your side, is where I want to spend the rest of my life.
