A major decision presents Pablo with an unexpected challenge, not only about where his life is headed, but with regards to the awakening to his intuition. His doubts lead to a deeper conversation with the old man about what intuition is exactly.
When Pablo isn’t sure how to respond to a strong intuitive push to do something potentially life-changing, he’s paralyzed with indecision. The simple advice he gets from the old man proves almost as enigmatic as the conundrum itself.
As Pablo begins to pay more attention to his inner voice, he becomes overwhelmed when he discovers other voices competing for his attention. A conversation with the old man gives him insight into how to single out the voice of his intuition from the others.
Pablo pays the old man another visit, leading to a discussion about the age-old debate between reason and revelation, including our ongoing search for answers to questions where reason comes up short.
Trying to make sense of multiple experiences that he's at a loss to explain, Pablo seeks advice from Victor, an old man who has recently arrived in the village. As they sit outside sharing a bowl of grapes, Victor introduces Pablo to the concept of intuition. The conversation then branches off to reason—its pros and cons alike—as well as how to consciously develop one's intuitive faculties.
Pablo's nascent awareness of his intuition once again catches him off guard, leading him to do something that makes no sense—but results in an astonishing experience in the wild. Intrigued not only by what happens but why, his curiosity about his intuition is now even greater than before.
