Wrapping up Science Week with Stanford Men's Tennis player Christian Kontaxis, who's tennis season was cut short due to COVID-19. The Molecular Biology major has been working on research with epidemiologist Dr. Patrica Cummings, to predict the spread of the virus in his own backyard, Coachella Valley.

University of Arizona's Head of Immunobiology, Dr. Janko Nikolich-Zugich discusses the importance of slowing down the spread of COVID-19 and more importantly immunity to the virus. Dr. Janko reiterates, following social distancing and personal protection guidelines extends time for experts to find and begin early treatments.

TRACE was started after Ben Dalziel, Assistant Professor in OSU's College of Science, Jeff Bethel, Associate Professor in OSU's College of Public Health and Human Services, and some of their colleagues were discussing the COVID-19 testing shortage. As a group, they felt that with the resources they had at Oregon State University they could be of assistance. TRACE has launched door to door COVID-19 testing in the Corvallis community to gather information on the spread of the virus. Stay safe!

Dr. Kate Starbird discusses the spread of misinformation online, specifically in social media, currently during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has found that people's vulnerabilities and anxieties fuel the misinformation. Dr. Starbird also talks about her time playing for Tara VanDerveer.

Dr. Chu gives us the bird's eye view on COVID-19 effects on college sports. She also takes us through various scenarios that have been discussed to get students back on campus.

She reminisces how back in 1985 Andy Geiger convinced her to leave Columbus for Palo Alto and walks us through her coaching journey at Stanford. Coach VanDerveer tells us which shows and books she's reading at the moment and her love for bridge.

Current Miami Dolphin and former Cal Golden Bear, Partick Laird takes us through his journey as an undrafted free agent after the 2019 NFL draft. He discusses how his relationship with former Pac-12er and current teammate Myles Gaskin has made him better.

UCLA women's basketball player Natalie Chou discusses how her mom inspired her love for the game. Natalie also addresses the importance of being an inspiration to young Asian-American females, as well as speaking out against racism during the Covid-19 pandemic.
