On today’s episode of the Pacers Pule Podcast, Sean recaps the Pacers 114-112 win over the Charlotte Hornets snapping the 13 game losing streak. Rick Carlise finally gets his 1000th win in his NBA coaching career cementing himself among the greats. Siakam and TJ put the team on their back in this one as both players come up with clutch plays at the end of this game to seal the victory. It was an exciting back and forth game as the Pacers withstand each run the Hornets went on and also withstand a crazy Lamelo Ball performance off the bench where he scored 33 points. Nesmith led the team in plus/minus, Furphy continues to improve and grow more confidence and Jay Huff showed up when we needed him most. On today’s episode, Sean recaps the Pacers 120-116 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Pacers won every single quarter until they got to the 4th and we got outscored 36 to 23. We failed to hit shots and the defense fell apart as Garland just took over the game in the 4th quarter. It was a well balanced scoring effort as 6 players scored in double digits, Nembhard finished with a double double, Furphy led the team in rebounds and had one of the best games of his career, Huff shot well from deep, Walker and Sheppard continue to shoot well after their shooting slumps from most this season. Nesmith and Siakam struggled shooting but still made an impact in other ways. Even in a loss there was some good take aways Pacer Nation. I go quarter by quarter and break down yet another tough loss where we now have the worst losing streak in franchise history at 13 losses in a row.

On today’s episode, Sean dives into the trade machine and comes up with three trades for a starting caliber center. One trade will be considered a safe bet, one will be a low-cost upside swing and the third one will be a high upside swing. With the trade deadline just a little bit over a month away, we are still searching for answers at the starting center position as we have now waived Tony Bradley and have been starting Micah Potter. For as good as Potter has been, we know he’s not the long term answer at center. With eyes towards finding the starting center of the future, things may start to heat up on the trade front as we continue to approach the trade deadline.

On today’s episode, Sean recaps the Pacers 127-135 loss to the Orlando Magic after yet again having a terrible second quarter that cost us the game. We also struggled defensively and allowed the Magic too many points off turnovers. Siakam scores 20 points in the 3rd quarter after the team being down 11 after the half. Nembhard has a double-double and Micah Potter does as well. Nesmith has his best game since being back and Walker and Sheppard continue to improve their shooting. Benn Mathurin was out this game with a thumb injury and it was said that he will be out for a while. On today’s episode, Sean recaps the Pacers 123-113 loss to the San Antonio Spurs who were without Wembanyama. We won every quarter besides the second quarter where we got outscored 41-27. We got out-rebounded by 10 and gave up 12 offensive boards to the Spurs. Mathurin really struggled and his play recently has been very confusing and we have to wonder if the toe injury is worse than we know or if it’s something else. Nesmith and Micah Potter started as well. Walker got benched in the second half even though he shot well. Kam Jones played over Walker and Furphy did as well. We may see some interesting rotation decisions in the future as we continue to try and snap our 11 game losing streak. I go quarter by quarter and break down the good and the bad in another loss.

On today’s episode, Sean celebrates the start of the new year by having some fun with the trade machine. We go over 5 trades for a young center who I believe have untapped potential. This will not be the biggest names you will hear but if they were given the right opportunity I believe they could be impactful starting level centers. With the Pacers having an eye towards finding a young starting level center for the future, I think all these names are interesting as most of them fit the current timeline of a lot of our core players. Also, you never know if the big name centers will be available. Maybe we just need a center that will protect the paint, rebound and finish plays and play within their role. I Apologize for the audio quality I had a Mic Issue. In today’s episode, Sean recaps the Pacers 112-110 loss to the Orlando Magic where the Pacers had a chance to win the game off of an Aaron Nesmith 3pt attempt that just didn’t go in. It was a competitive hard fought game. The Pacers get outscored in the paint by 32 points and failed to get any offense going in the 4th quarter even though the Magic struggled in the 4th as well. The Magic shot 14% from three in this game highlighting how much the points in the paint and second chance points mattered in this one. Ben Sheppard made his return and had a solid first half, Nembhard picked up his play after a slow start, Mathurin was 13-13 from the FT line on his was to 23 points and Siakam finished with 26. I go quarter by quarter and break down the good and the bad I saw throughout the game.

On today’s episode, Sean celebrates going into a new year with a fun episode where I talk about 5 things I want to see from the Pacers in 2026. I talk about how 2025 might have been the greatest year in Pacers history where we went on that magical playoff run to make it to a game 7 in the NBA Finals. It has also become one of the worst years as well because of the Haliburton injury and having one of the worst starts in franchise history this season. As a fan, it’s a year that you can never forget Pacer Nation and I hope it has a special place in your heart like it does mine.
