  • Genesis 2:1-18
    Genesis 2:1–15 | Pastor Greg
The Design of Rest and Relationship
In Genesis 2, Pastor Greg explores God’s intentional design for both creation and humanity. While Genesis 1 gives the chronology of creation, chapter 2 shifts focus to humanity as the crown of God’s work. God establishes the pattern of work and rest, not because He needs rest, but to model a rhythm for our flourishing. Pastor Greg also unpacks the distinction between mankind and animals, highlighting that while both have souls (nefesh), only humans were uniquely given the "breath of life" — a spiritual connection to God. As God forms Adam and places him in the garden, we see God’s calling for humanity: stewardship of both the animal kingdom and the environment. The passage closes with God’s creation of Eve as a "helper comparable" to Adam—equal but distinct, designed for unity through complementary differences.

  • Romans 6:15-7:25
    Romans | Pastor Ed
    Whose Slave Are You?
In this message from Romans 6–7, Pastor Ed unpacks the radical transformation that happens when we surrender to Jesus: we are no longer slaves to sin, but slaves to righteousness. Paul challenges us to consider who we’re truly obeying—and reminds us that following Christ isn’t about religious rule-keeping, but a new way of living empowered by grace.
This passage shows the difference between justification and sanctification, the struggle with our old nature, and the freedom found in becoming a “slave to rightness.” The gospel doesn’t just forgive us—it reshapes our desires from the inside out.

    Genesis 1:6-25 | Pastor Greg
    Created to know the Creator
In this message from Genesis 1, Pastor Greg reminds us that while the age of the earth is an interesting topic, it’s not the point of the passage—or of our faith. Whether someone leans young earth or old earth, the essential truth remains the same: God created everything, and our salvation rests in Jesus Christ.
Greg explores how Scripture and nature both declare God’s glory, and why we should approach non-essential issues with humility and grace. The focus isn’t on debating theories—it’s on knowing the Creator and trusting His Word.
