Paddy's Pubcast

It's taken entirely too long to get out these episodes, because unfortunately both our expert Kristen and semi-expert Peter have become increasingly unable to continue to view and analyze the best sitcom about the worst people of all time. It was v unplanned, but the Pubcast has to close down for the time being. We are both extremely sad and have been torn apart by the truth of this.

But we had an important milestone we reached with this newest episode: we had our first lady guest! The super funny and talented Jessica Rose Felix was our guest as we dove into this (kinda last) episode for Paddy's Pubcast, "The Gang Broke Dee". If you ever needed to know just how low to Gang will go, and do THEY. GO. LOW., then look (and listen) no further! No lie, this is damaging! 100 thank yous to Jessica for helping us pick up the pieces, and try to make sense of this crazy goddamn Pub.

Speaking of thank yous, thanks to those who've given us over 100 listens in less than a year! We truly appreciate and love you, a heck of a lot more than Charlie loves Frank. Or vice versa!

The Matrix Supreme Kristen Gull and the Protegé Peter Stoia go over the very appropriate "The Gang Tends Bar" on the actual Valentine's Day, as well as "The Gang Misses the Boat", a little tooooooooo late! Yeah, we recorded so long ago.

That's right, jabronis! We're catching up so we can start delivering these episodes to you in a timely fashion.

As a somewhat historical tracking of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", we feel we must watch the classic, truly well-known episodes of "Always Sunny" so when we start getting to the nitty gritty episodes, we'll be well-prepared. That's why we engaged in not just a game, but A WAR of a pubcast with "Chardee Macdennis: The Game of Games". The gang shows their true colors, how much they rely on and also hate each other. And we're so happy to be covering all of it!

Also, we didn't know we would be on iTunes before this episode was published, which is why we make reference to the pubcast not being on iTunes yet at the end.

WOAH! February is already more than halfway done, and we've got some Pubcasting to do! We've fell behind on the Pubcast a bit, and we have to do a bit of time traveling in order to catch up.

Kristen picked the 2 "Always Sunny" episodes we watched for Pubcast 12 specifically because of a very crazy evening we experienced weeks ago, back on January 25th. Kristen had a unfortunate damn experience before we celebrated a friend's birthday at a real cramped bar. And thus, she chose "Bums: Making a Mess All Over the City" and "The Gang Dances Their Asses Off"! We'll get into it!

JABRONIS. We are indeed v sorry that it's taken so long for a new Paddy's Pubcast. Kristen and Peter speak briefly on why, and speak vastly on 2 absolutely insane episodes: "The Gang Beats Boggs: Ladies' Reboot" and "The ANTI-Social Network"! We get drunk on laughter as the main ladies of "It's Always Sunny" get drunk on pink Rosé, and we dig into just how rude the anti-shushers of Philadelphia really are.

Also, please, watch your step, there's lady throw-up all over the floor.

You're goddamn right, jabronis. It's another Pubcast on this oh-so-festive day, and we couldn't do it without our Always Sunny correspondents Kristen, Peter, and guest Jason Kaye! We venture far into the past of Always Sunny, way back to Seasons 4 and 5 for two CLASSIC adventures: "The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis" and "The D.E.N.N.I.S. System". Two historic episodes for the Gang, as everyone learns their place in this dystopian-Ghostbusters (see the ep) AND everyone fucks everything up for Dennis (and themselves, tbh)! So get ready to see (or, really, hear) some Wild Card action as we foreshadow and dissect as much as we can, a Happy Holidays, AND HAVE A VERY PUBCAST NEW YEAR!

Merry Pubcast, jabronis! Kristen and Peter are bringing 2 new episodes of the pubcast to you on this very appropriate day, and what better way to begin the cheer than with a Pubcast about "A Very Sunny Christmas"?! The Gang is searching for cheer and destroying other peoples' holidays everywhere they go, from Frank's old business partner ("The Big Lebowski" alum David Huddleston) to the previous, now-grown up owner of a stolen robot. And, of course, they dive right in to the unmerry mess with their special guest, Dave Ciaccio! But wait! What's that in the distance? Could it be... ANOTHER PUBCAST?!

Woah! We have a guest on! And this calls for something very special. Improviser, musician, writer, and musical lover Barton Lewis joins Kristen and Peter and, as such, they watch the incredible live version of "The Nightman Cometh", filmed live at the Troubadour in LA back in 2009. Peter says everything is "crazy" a lot of times, Kristen fancies herself a poet, and Barton acts as the narrative compass we must follow so we don't just say, "WE LOVED THIS" over and over again. But, WE DID love this performance.

Kristen and Peter wish you a Happy Thanksgiving, Jabronis! If there's anything we're thankful for, it's the Gang and all their beefs. So we felt it necessary to take it back to the finale of Season 9 and celebrate our ideal Thanksgiving by watching the Gang fail so hard at squashing beefs. But WAIT. What's this?? Are they talking about... ANOTHER EPISODE??? That's right, because the first episode of Season 10 is the episode Kristen has been dying to show Peter since before this was a Pubcast. It's "The Gang Beats Boggs", and lord almighty... Peter stopped taking notes because of it. Enjoy these 2 episode packed into one, and get full on Thanksgiving feasts!

WOAH 2 EPISODES IN ONE SATURDAY???!

We had to release this episode because the 13th season finale of "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia", "Mac Finds His Pride", aired and literally blew the roof off America. The previously hailed dramatic talent of the Gang came with brute force, and brought with it feelings you definitely do not normally feel during "It's Always Sunny". Mac truly finds his pride, and literally blows us all away with what is assuredly one of the best episodes in the series' history.

Also, Peter couldn't not look at Frank's disgusting face for the first 2/3 of the episode.
