That put them 3 games back of LA with 3 games upcoming at Dodger Stadium. With the Padres holding the season series against LA, the Padres will win the division if tied with LA. It's Chris and Raphie talking with a veritable gaggle of our patrons after Dylan Cease shut out the Astros, capping off a playoff-like series in which the Padres won 2 of 3, losing only a bizarre 10 inning contest in which the umpires played more of a deciding role than either team. Raphie holds the fort as Chris camps and Craig PAs at Snapdragon. The Padres lost 2 of 3 to the Giants with an incomplete comeback fizzling in a 7-6 loss. A ball lost in the sun in the 4th inning implodes Joe Musgrove as the Padres head into the final three weeks of the season just two games ahead of the Mets and Braves in the WC chase.
