RevKess & KaliSara talk about some of the headlines in the news over the last week as well as issues that pertain to the Pagan community. From the terrorist attacks in the UK and Alexandria, VA to the UPS employee who went postal in California; from arms deals in the Middle East to Flint, MI citizens finally getting some justice; from DAPL to Summer festivals. KaliSara and her household are making a major move this month and the hosts thought it would be perfect timing to share some of the basics of creating a magical household. From packing your current household and cleansing that space to preparing the new household space and more! Rituals, spells, recipes, and other magical happenings to make your new home a magical one.

Musica Pagani is often times over looked in our podcasting. For that we apologize. RevKess started work on a collection of new age music to share with you for the month of June some time ago. He had intended for it to be a showcase of NEW new age for the month of June. He receives somewhere around six new CDs a month from various music promoters and other sources. While having a conversation with his Muse and High Priestess in Colorado, the idea shifted to a new age meditation or ritual soundtrack coupled with a vocal ritual soundtrack. Both to celebrate the Full Moon. It is being posted for the June 2017 Full Moon, but could easily work for any Esbat.

KaliSara and RevKess bring you a conversation of political and Pagan news, often the twain shall meet. Pwords or Pwordians are all those lovely p-words that are often talked about on PMPChannel. Politics, Pagans, polytheists, pantheists, etc. Your hosts will address some of the major news stories from U.S. and global politics as well as talk about some of the Pagan events and happenings from around the globe.

June is also LGBTQIA-etc Pride Month, the hosts will talk about some of the intersections of that community with Paganism. The two communities interact often, but they do not always get along. Tune in to find out more on that topic...

There is a strong movement within the United States to push for renewable energies despite the promises of the Trump Administration to renew oil drilling and coal mining. Several predicted pipeline leaks have occurred with the Dakota Access Pipeline, encouraging financial withdrawals from DAPL - pressure from customers and shareholders helped there. Politics remains a topic of discussion for your hosts, and there will be no disappointment there as they talk about some of the current faux pas from the Trump White House. And of course, Pwordians will be a topic of discussion.

Memorial Day Weekend on Murphy's Magic Mess. Of course there was a Murphy's twist to the holiday. The first half hour of the show contains new released from the New Age genre. From there the hosts bring a selection of music ranging from country to military ballads. Even a civil rights anthem at the end. Content of the show is the property of the various musicians played. KaliSara and RevKess are joined by author Ellen Evert Hopman for her second visit on Pagan-Musings. Ellen is excited to talk about a feature film project based on the first book in A Druid Journey trilogy, Priestess of the Forest. In her own words:

Part one of a trilogy, “Priestess” explores the late Iron-Age initial encounter between the indigenous Druids and Christian missionaries in Eire (Ireland) and Caledonia (Scotland).

We are now seeking support from producers with a passion for this forgotten Celtic history.

Corwin and Phil have hosted Lavender Hill on KZUM for more than six years. In this week's episode Phil interviews Rev. Dr. Renae Khoeler and Kevin Tjeerdsma of Vine Congregational Church about VERGE and the Lincoln Equality March schedule for June 11, 2017. After the interview Corwin and Phil talk about news and issues of interest to the LGBTQIAA-etc community in Nebraska and around the globe. Featured artist this week is Shawn Thomas, an openly gay Christian musician.

This episode is Corwin's last until the school year starts. He is taking a break to address some personal issues. Aj Oteman and C Style Balta will be sitting in with Phil on on June 4th to talk about two exciting theatre and musical events in the Lincoln area.
