#45's first 100 days is drawing to a close. KaliSara and RevKess will talk about some of what the current U.S. administration has done to and for the world. Along the way they will give you updates on earlier stories they have covered, including the Kenny Klein case in Louisiana. They will also talk about Constellation8 in Lincoln, NE - a sci-fi/fantasy convention that KaliSara will be working a booth at for the Nebraska Writer's Guild.

It has been a busy week for both your hosts, so just about anything could happen during the show.

RevKess and KaliSara are excited to have Lorelei Greenwood back on the show. This time to talk about her books for Pagans and non-Pagans. Yup, she even writes for non-Pagans.

Lorelei started writing at a very young age, young enough that in reading her older poetry these days, she is decently embarrassed by what she had written (ain't we all?). From poetry and prose to song, music, short stories, and rituals, Lorelei's love of the written word has found a wide venue of expression. In 2016, she self-published her first book, From Hallow to Harvest: Celebrations for the Wheel of the Year, which contains over 80 rituals (10 for each of the Wiccan holidays), recipes, poetry, and more. On the heels of that, For the Love of the Moon was born, a book of 13 rituals for the 12 Full Moons and the Blue. Lorelei's book of poetry was published next, Poems for the Pagan Heart, and somewhere in there she put together a non-Pagan book of nature photography called Off the Beaten Path. You just can't stop her from writing! Upcoming titles include Hestia's Way: Creating a Magickal Household (perhaps a joint effort with a fellow Hestian devotee), and Joined by the Gods: A Book of Pagan Marriage. Lorelei is also quite excited to be developing Sabbat Creations, a book of crafts for all age levels for the Pagan holidays.

Join us on April 22nd at 7pm central time as the ladies speak with Michael Veal. Michael is a 41 year old police dispatcher and father of two teenage boys. He is very active in the Native American community. His family organizes the Upper Cumberland Powwow in Cookeville TN every year, and Michael, his wife Lisa, and the two boys are each traditional dancers. Michael frequently serves as Arena Director, Emcee, or various other duties at powwows in the area as needed. Before a knee injury which occurred in 2009, he also served as Head Man Dancer from time to time. Michael transitioned through Christianity, Agnosticism, and Atheism, and after looking into most of the major systems of belief for something that “fit”, he eventually settled into his current system of belief which draws on aspects of many of the belief systems he studied over the years. Michael has been extremely lucky in having known and been taught by quite a few amazing teachers in “The Red Path”, which is what we call the traditional Native American Teachings. First there was his father, and then other knowledgeable elders who taught him about various nations’ beliefs, from Tuscarora, Lakota and Cherokee backgrounds primarily. Today Michael focuses on sharing the knowledge and insights that he has been taught with others, while continuing to try to learn and grow as much as possible.

A lot has happened since the last episdoe of PWN there has been a lot of news. 24 hours after that broadcast the U.S. military dropped an 11 ton non-nuclear bomb on an Daesh (ISIL/ISIS) cave network in Afghanistan; the founder of Red Wheel/Weiser, Donald Weiser, passed away; French candidate Marine Le Pen has been accused of anti-Semitism with her remarks regarding the Nazi occupation of France during WWII. North Korea and the United States are eyeing each other over the waters between them with the looming threat of more nuclear testing from North Korea. The world seems to be on the brink of another "war to end all wars" and the current U.S. administration seems satisfied to let that looming continue. All of that in just 24 hours.

Author and musician Kaedrich Olsen and author Sarah Buhrman (KaliSara) guested on KZUM's Murphy's Magic Mess this morning. Phil (aka RevKess) is one of the hosts of the Mess and made arrangements with Murf (the owner of the show) to select all podcast safe music for their visit so that it could be rebroadcast this evening in lieu of a live show.

Kaedrich and Sarah were doing a mini book tour of Eastern Nebraska. They hit Norfolk and Omaha before coming to Lincoln to visit with the Mess about their books and Kaedrich's music. Fun times!

Kaedrich is the author of Runes for Transformation: Using Ancient Symbols to Change Your Life as well as the master mind behind GaldraKraft, a musical take on the runes. Sarah is the author of Too Wyrd and other books of interest to the Pagan community.

RevKess & KaliSara return on a special night to bring you news, views, and information that may be of interest to the Pagan community. They will discuss online witch wars, bad political/economic choices, and some of the hazards of social media. 

United Airlines has been in the news recently. So has the conviction of Kenny Klein. On the social media level, witch wars seem to have found a new home.

KaliSara and RevKess tal about some of the latest headlines. On the international level, #45 ordered a missile strike on a Syrian airbase on 4/6. Nationally, Senate Republians launch the "nuclear option" to prevent the Democrats from blocking Gorsuch confirmation to SCOTUS. In Pagan news, author, musician, teacher Kenny Klein finally got his day in court over the 20 charges of position of child ography he was arrested on in March of 2014.
