Do you ever feel like you fall short? That you don’t measure up? That you don’t have what it takes to be used of God? That if you gave your life to Jesus, He just might give it back? What does it take for God to use us to touch hearts, reach people, and change lives through ministry? In this encouraging message, Pastor Zimmerman points us to Peter to answer this question.

Christianity is a preaching faith, preaching ought to be powerful. What makes for powerful preaching? In this message, Pastor Zimmerman identifies three marks of powerful preaching, and agues that nothing less than powerful preaching can meet the great needs of men's lives.

The Gospel of grace is healing for the broken, freedom for the bound, sight for the blind, and comfort for the bruised by this world of sin. In this message Pastor Zimmerman encourages us to "do ministry" the way Jesus did ministry, that hearts might be touched, people reached, and lives changed by the Gospel.

Temptation is our problem. That is why Jesus made it His problem. And because Jesus overcame temptation and sin, we can, too. In this message, Pastor Zimmerman encourages us to allow Jesus to show us the way to victory over temptation and sin.

Sin separates us from God; Grace makes it possible for you to know and experience God in all his Triune fullness: the Father who loves you, the Spirit who changes you, and the Son who sacrificed Himself to save you from your sins.

Abuse of power. Reigns of terror. Genocide. Sexual scandals. Religious leaders worming their way into the halls of government. Such was the state of the world when the word of God came unto John, the son of Zacharias, in the wilderness. To the world of that day, God sent a preacher to prepare people to recognize and receive His Son as their Savior. 2000 years later, the state of the world is not much changed, and God's method for reaching people remains the same.  This passage helps us understand why.

"Every crisis of faith in our lives is to be a crossroads of faith in the lives of others."

In this message, Pastor Zimmerman challenges us to let our faith in Christ be heard in the words we speak, the decisions we make, and the actions we take, that others might see that we believe God is real.

What does God want us to know about Christmas, about the birth of Jesus? The answer to that question is found in the message of the angels and the reaction of the shepherds to what they heard.

The Christmas Story is one of the greatest in the world. It has captured the hearts of men and women for two-thousand years. It has inspired music, cards, paintings, and pageants for centuries.  But did it happen, or is it just a nice, heartwarming, Hallmark Movie kind of story?

Zechariah knew that the long awaited day of salvation had dawned because when God fulfills one part of His Word, He can be trusted to fulfill it all.
