Every Christian has spiritual ups and downs. We go through spiritual highs and lows. In this message, we see how God works in our lives to get them back on track when we find ourselves out of step with His purposes for us.

Commitments are important. They help us fulfill God’s purposes for our lives. Israel abandoned their commitment, and when they did, the work of God was stopped. That can happen to any of us, but it doesn’t have to. Commitments can be kept. God’s work can continue. But not without an understanding of what we are up against.

Bad beginnings can be overcome. There are plenty of examples of that in life. However, there is great value in beginning well.

Every Christian begins his or her new life in Christ out of what they were before Jesus saved them.
