Today's the first day of Star Wars Celebration London, and the news is already pouring out. Some new movies were announced, but what gets me most excited is the teaser trailer for the Ahsoka series, which basically serves as a sequel to the Star Wars Rebels animated series. The Ahsoka series (which is live action) will continue the adventures of the principal characters of the series as they deal with the rising threat of Grand Admiral Thrawn, who sees himself as the "heir to the empire".

Several months ago saw the release of Star Wars: Andor, one of the most extraordinary pieces of media I have ever seen. However, I noticed a tendency among some fans to weaponize Andor in their criticisms of the other Star Wars shows. In other words, they were using their love of Andor to justify their dislike of the other series. Join me as I share some rambling thoughts on navigating the post-Andor landscape.

On this most recent episode of The Mandalorian, the forces of Pirate King Gorian Shard besiege Navarro City and drive the people from their homes. As the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy revealed, the Jedi Order forbade romantic relationships and other emotional attachments. This is ironic considering that Luke Skywalker's love and attachment to his father ultimately saved the galaxy. This begs the question: why were the Jedi so frightened by love? I believe that they feared that all love would ultimately turn selfish and lead to poor choices. However, as we know, love and attachment can also be our greatest strengths when they are done selflessly. Join me as we examine the difference between selfish and selfless love.

As our voyages continue, we arrive at the last Star Trek film to feature the cast of The Next Generation: Star Trek Nemesis. In this final adventure, a new ruler of the Romulan Empire desires to negotiate with the Federation. Captain Picard and the USS Enterprise travel to Romulus, only to discover that the new ruler of the Empire is a clone of Picard himself!
