In the early seasons of The Clone Wars series, we learn about the Mandalorian culture and its history. When Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi confronts Mandalorian extremist Pre Vizla, the latter refers to a historical event called "The Fall of the Old Republic", which occurred a thousand years before the Star Wars films. What is this moment in galactic history? How does it relate to the fall of the ancient Sith, an event which also occurred a millennia ago? Join me as I speculate.

Earlier this week it was announced that a Mandalorian and Grogu movie is in the works and will go into production in 2024. Little is known about the story, so join me today as I responsibly speculate as what we might see in Star Wars' return to the big screen!

2024 marks the 25th anniversary of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, released to an infamously mixed reception in the Spring of 1999.
