  • Part Twos?

Sorry for the late update, we have been doing a lot!

Sequels are certainly a contested topic amongst most readers, including us. They have their benefits, but are they really necessary? And in what genres? And what about when that transfers over to movies? Lots of questions, and lots of answers in this new episode!!

  • Fan-fictional Discourse

TW: Mentions of abuse and harassment

We wouldn't be a reading podcast if we didn't acknowledge the...wondrous...world of fanfiction. We all know Vicky had an addiction, but after seeing some things recently she feels as though she has been cured. We discuss why that is, as well as Wattpad, AO3, and the toxicity within fandoms - we get into it in this episode, so buckle up!

  • Anticipation

There are lots of books to read in this world, and there are only two of us. Still, in the hopes of someday achieving our goals of reading as much as possible, we discuss some of our most anticipated reads, with, as usual, many tangents. Specifically, is the theater kid to reader pipeline real? Warning: this episode may change your entire view on your reader friends, as it did ours.

  • Pagebreak Unfiltered

Our uncut recordings tend to be ... chaotic to say the least. Over the past eight months, we have gathered a plethora of clips too good to delete that didn't make the cut. It may be short, but I can guarantee you will be laughing by the end - so enjoy this episode of all our unfiltered thoughts and fun!

  • Live, Laugh, (sometimes) Love

Any listener of ours (or just anyone who knows us), knows that we are suckers for a good rom-com. With Valentine's Day coming up, what better than a round up of our favorite fun romances, or our own how-to on the best parts of a rom-com? Both of them together! Enjoy this...interesting...new episode where we become the stereotypical teenage girls we truly are and discuss all things romance.

Note: Sorry about the delay in the episode!!

  • The Cruel Controversy of Annotations

It is a tale as old as time, but midterms have been attacking us recently. However, we are ever dedicated to you all, and so we have persevered and brought you an episode nonetheless. Do we like annotations? What are the best ways to annotate? Are we really better than everyone? (that one is a yes). Sit back with us, relax, and enjoy a low-energy discussion on the perks and perils of annotating the books you read!

  • A Discussion

As we've said before, life is stressful. Sometimes, all you need is to sit down with a friend and talk. We don't have a theme for this episode, instead, as our description states, we talk about all things books. Get to know us as people, as well as readers, a little better!

  • Taylor's Titles

    WARNING FOR ABSOLUTE CHAOS

Note: We discuss specific books in this episode and may be a little too excited to discuss their plot, so this episode will be much more enjoyable if you have read at least one of them. I've listed them below so you can double check. if you haven't read them, come back after you have (or listen now, and hear us breakdown!!!)

In two days, Taylor Swift will release Red (Taylor's Version). In honor of this masterpiece of a recording, we connect some of our favorite Taylor songs to some of our favorite books. Our goal was to analyze these lyrics and quotes with composure and a clear thought process, but unfortunately our love for both Taylor and these books won out. Nonetheless, we hope you all enjoy this wonderful episode!

    Books we discuss:

    • Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (specifically Kaz and Inej)
    • The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E.Schwab (specifically Luc and Addie)
    • The Seven Husbands of  Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reed (specifically Evelyn and Celia)
    • Shatter Me (series) by Taherra Mafi (specifically Juliette and Warner)
    • Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reed
    • Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (specifically Elizabeth and Darcy)
