“Khushkismat hote hain ve log jinke paas lautane ke liye ghar hota hai ya fir koi aisi jagah hoti hai jisko ghar bola jaa sake. Jinke ghar nahi hote ve zindagi bhar bhagkar bhi kahi pahunchte nahi jab tak ki ve kisi ek jagah rukkar use apna ghar nahi maan lete hain.”
Kya apne bhi kabhi aisa mehsus kiya hai? Aksar jo log apne ghar yaani apne parivar se door padhne ya naukri karne aate hain ve log isase jyada relate kr paenge.

“Think of your Happy Place, the cool voice in my ear instructs.
Picture it. Glimmering blue washes across the backs of my eyes.
How does it smell? Wet rock, brine, butter sizzling in a deep fryer, and a spritz of lemon on the tip of my tongue.
What do you hear? Laughter, the slap of water against the bluffs, the hiss of the tide drawing back, over sand and stone.
What can you feel? Sunlight, everywhere. Not just on my bare shoulders or the crown of my head but inside me too, the irresistible warmth that comes only from being in the exact right place with the exact right people.”
Isn’t that what we all look for when we talk about our happy place? I am sure you are now imagining your ideal picture of your Happy Place

In today’s episode, I have come up with something interesting, something that will bring to you a fresh perspective of reading experience. I am going to talk about the benefits of listening to audiobooks on audible and how they can transform your reading journey.
Let’s be honest, finding time to sit down with a book in the middle of a hectic schedule isn’t always easy. Have you ever felt like you're not reading as much as you’d like? If so, you’re not alone. But what if there was a way to keep up with your reading habit, even on the go?
That’s where audiobooks come in picture. They have been a game-changer for me, and I’m certain they can enhance your reading experience too.
The Colony Brats by Vineed P Menon is a contemporary fiction with a flair of action and drama taking readers on a journey of seeking justice against discrimination.
The story is set in an industrial town in Maharashtra, India exploring themes of social inequality between hierarchical distribution of employment in Cement Plant, leading to sequences of events causing action, drama, plotting, and violence. The basic structure of the story is the depiction of the division of people based on social class or rank the bread earner holds at the workplace, viz. Cement Plant. The lower wage holders or wage board workers are depicted as underprivileged who face injustice and discrimination against all odds in every way possible, including lifestyle, education, and access to basic amenities. But the best part is even when it appears the protagonist lost the battle there comes a turn that leads to a satisfactory ending that every reader will crave in this story.
It was an insightful discussion with the author Raghavan Srinivasan exploring his literary journey, delve into his latest work, and discuss his passion for writing about India and its philosophy. We also touch upon his dream collaborations and personal favorites, offering listeners glimpse into the mind of a writer.
From fiction to history he has written five books.

“You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.”
That’s so true, and I am sure everyone of us comes across such a situation where this quote fits.

“The temperature in the room plummeted dramatically , despite the power cut, as if the very air itself had turned cold with dread. Outside, the sky darkened ominously while distant thunder rumbled like a warning from the heavens.”
If you are wondering what it is, let me enlighten you that this is taken from the book that I am going to talk about today, a book that made me fall in love with the writing style of the author.
