My older brother Kevin died last year. He was only 34 years old. When I went to his funeral, he had the biggest smile on his face in his casket. I only wished I could have witnessed him have that same divine peace, here on earth. And it sucks that... we never got a chance to sing our duet.
Save our Brothers.

Paying homage to the one and only Philadelphia Jazz/RnB artist, Jill Scott, who inspired me to sing, just from her Golden Video alone, so here's my new song, "The Rain," which is letting people know that, even if the sun is hidden, it still shines on. The sun is always shining, behind the clouds. And God can use the thunder to send a message, and God can use the rain to bless you, just like he can use the sun to shine on your face. #TheRain #PhiladelphiaSoul #PhillySoul #Jazz #RnB #Patience #RawVocals
My raw original song called "if I We're an Angel (raw)," inspired by the violence in our generation. My dream is for the world to heal from my music. I hope that one day, my music can be a light for this world. I hope we see each other, as God sees us. That's the secret. Please listen, download, and be inspired. #IfIWereanAngelRaw #RawReferenceTrack #PatienceMurray #FeelGoodMusic #MusicGotItsSpiritBack #SoulMusic #InspoSoul #123
Pages of Poetry started out as an online poetry competition where poets from all over the world could come together during COVID for healing, and sharing of our stories of resilience. Listen to this episode, which is a recording of our final Pages of Poetry Slam from last year's National Poetry Month 2021, poets represented from Canada, London, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Tennessee, Louisiana, Virginia, even Asia represented with poets all the way from MALAYSIA! All of our amazing winners received a generous cash prize, however ALL participants received a digital copy of a very prestigious Pages of Poetry Certificate Award immediately after the competitions to honor them for their bravery! No one does it like Pages of Poetry, and as we get ready for the new Fall season leading up to Spring's National Poetry Month 2022, we expect to do it even BIGGER and BETTER than last year! For more information on how you can support and donate please email [email protected] to become a honorary SPONSOR for this season, to let someone know that their story of resilience DOES matter!

Pages of Poetry has transformed into a passion project that's bigger than all of us!
Pages of Poetry aims to position itself as a resource and media company for black and brown creatives and the advocates who empower them. Pages of Poetry aims to educate, employ, and create a new generation of creative entrepreneurs across the globe while raising awareness about all forms of violence plaguing underserved communities, especially gun violence.
There are so many people that have a powerful story to tell, they have an incredible mission that they’ve dedicated their life to, but if no one hears their story, if no one sees the work they do, how will we know their cause even exists? Pages of Poetry aims to solve this problem, once and for all.
