When you are striving to be both who God says you are and who the world says you should be, that's not balance, THAT'S BONDAGE - according to Michelle Myers and Somer Phoebus, authors of the book SHE WORKS HIS WAY, and co-founders of the discipleship community by the same name.
I had the honor to talk to both of these working women who are also wives and mothers about the struggle of climbing the ladders at home and at work while wondering where God's commandments fit into this crazy hustle culture we live in.
If you have found yourself exhausted, frustrated, and empty from all of your efforts....this episode is about to set you FREE!!!

Have you ever taken a break from Instagram (or any social media platform)? If I were to ask you what the top 5 reasons for needing a break were, I can bet some of them match mine. In this episode, I pull back the curtains and invite you to listen to the most honest and vulnerable podcast episode I've ever recorded. Building a brand and business on Instagram has consumed the year of 2021 for me. It's been great, there's been a ton of growth, I've connected with wonderful people, and it's been fun! However, something is just not quite right in my soul and I'm stepping back for a moment to get clarity on just what that thing is. My mental health is far more valuable than my constant presence on Instagram. Hey, if Simone Biles can do it for herself...we can too! I'll leave you with this scripture that best describes my "why"....but you've gotta press play to hear the whole story! Matthew 6:19-24 19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy,[c] your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eyes are unhealthy,[d] your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. ________________________________________________________________________ SEND ME A MESSAGE: [email protected] GET MY FREE E-BOOK "EDIT MOBILE PICS LIKE A PRO": https://bit.ly/3m3Dw0U

When I was a college athlete on a co-ed cheer team, all the girls were required to stand on a scale to weigh in every week. The negative impact this had on my mental health spiraled me downward into a cycle that only increased my weight. Years of yo-yo dieting and exercising only the week before vacation followed my college graduation. It wasn't until God revealed to me the true purpose of moving my body, and it had nothing to do with losing weight. Listen in as I discuss how working out moves mental blocks, emotional turmoil, and spiritual trauma.

We all know drinking water is good for us, but why don't we do it more often? Because it's booooring! Yep, I said it. Tasteless, no sensations, and just plain blah. HOWEVER, when implementing healthy habits, drinking water is always at the top of the list. I have 3 hacks to share with you to make the switch from your favorite drinks back to water a little more appealing and rewarding.
You can join me and a team of others who are focusing on better habits at the END of this year, instead of the beginning of next year, by visiting the link for the #4thQTRchallenge here.
