Paint the Town Dead

After murdering two people, Rickey Ray Rector attempted to take his own life. He failed to do so and had instead essentially lobotomized himself. In this week's episode Andrew recounts the controversial saga that would take place after his arrest.

In the post-show, Andrew recommends a really long Youtube thing about flat-earthers (linked below), and Caitlin watched Coco because she wanted to cry for some reason. There's also discussion about animal names and video games!

Caitlin gives us a double feature! First, it's the story of Jessica Baggen, whose case went cold in the 90's, but made recent headlines. In part two, she discusses the still ongoing saga of a Jane Doe nicknamed Buckskin Girl, including the surprising truth about her identity.

Post show, there's the normal nonsense, along with more talk about planets.

If you have information about Marcie Lenore King aka Buckskin Girl, call the Miami County Sheriff's Office at 937-440-3965.

Caitlin makes Andrew answer the tough questions. On the bright side, he teaches Caitlin a lot about the planets all of which is probably correct.

It's an Andrew week and we apologize. He tells us all the story of John Markle, the son of a movie star who seemed to have it all. Sadly, he would throw it all away in the most horrible way possible.

Caitlin's journey through the state capitals marches on. Can she continue her streak of knowing at least a few!?

Andrew discovers a Tron animated series that was actually pretty good, but nobody saw (like every other Tron thing), and Caitlin listens to a book about the Golden State Killer.

In 1999, a young woman was thrown from a moving vehicle on the highway and killed. Investigators were left with very few leads before a major break in the case would come five years later.

Caitlin is still bad at geography, but loves audio books and getting sunburned. Andrew watched Old Guard and enjoys the wackiness of the Mortal Kombat movie. All this and more on episode 19 of Paint the Town Dead!
