With their only magical ally, Galian, dead, and having been cornered by the demon Lathenda, SHUA takes a deal to work alongside this demon. The deal is SHUA will assist Lathenda in his chaos and he will share a possible means of escape the Abyss. But even Lathenda is aware that the group is not powerful enough to get out... yet.

With another mission successfully completed, SHUA makes their way back to Reykivvik to begin some much needed rest. A month of time spent just for themselves, getting equipment for upcoming endeavors, helping their friends wherever they can, and opening a business of their own, leads to a lot of hijinks as they work to help the community they long to build. SHUA deals with the immediate repercussions for Ana, resulting from the arrangement made with Rabhuk in weeks prior. Despite this, a massive fire giant stronghold stands above the team, at the top of which is supposedly where the one controlling this fiery mayhem resides, Nephrit. A tough climb for most halflings, but this team has some wild ideas.
