   Según lo planeado sería un entrenamiento de fondo compartido con mi compañera de viaje @zutodoterreno y la idea inicial era superar los 15 km; Aunque Zuni siempre apuesta a más y suponía que haríamos 27 km. Soy de los que piensan que todo debe hacerse con consciencia y si todavía no estamos para esos kilómetros ¿para que arriesgar? En el video verán lo que aconteció y como si esto fuera poco, Charly volvió.

La Reencarnación de Charly.

      Contextualicemos: Hace un tiempo atrás encontramos en el mismo lugar, frente a los predios que tiene River Plate en Ezeiza de entrenamientos, a un perro muy parecido a este que estoy llevando en mis brazos. Si hilamos fino sinceramente no es de la misma raza, pero sus rasgos son totalmente idénticos. Mismo lugar y el perro se aproxima hacia nosotros como si fuera nuestro. Situación que nos puso en aprieto que nos obligó a llevarlo.

Let's put it in context: Some time ago we found in the same place, in front of River Plate's training grounds in Ezeiza, a dog very similar to the one I am carrying in my arms. To be honest, it is not the same breed, but its features are totally identical. Same place and the dog approaches us as if it were ours. Situation that put us in a predicament that forced us to take him.

      Las imágenes que preceden sucedió porque el entrar al barrio, todos los perros lugareños comenzaron a ladrarlo y se asustó en demasía. No me quedo otra que alzarlo y llevarlo por casi 2 km, hasta nuestro domicilio. Sinceramente, no sé qué me paso ese día, ya que normalmente encontramos perros abandonados y si bien uno lamenta su situación, no podemos llevarlo a todos. Pero la mirada de este animal, me convencieron a realizar la osadía.

! [English] The images above happened because when he entered the neighborhood, all the local dogs started barking at him and he got too scared. I had no choice but to pick him up and carry him for almost 2 km to our home. Honestly, I don't know what happened to me that day, since we usually find abandoned dogs and although one regrets his situation, we can't take him to all of them.       Luego de enviar un mensaje a @geronimo06 para que realice un licuado restaurador de remolacha, llegamos al domicilio para darles las "buena noticia" a los niños. Y aquí encaja el dicho "una imagen dice más que mil palabras". Si perciben la cara de Genaro, se darán cuenta de su No alegría 😃. Es que al ser el niño del medio, normalmente se encarga de toda la limpieza de la casa. Si bien ya estamos entrenando a Don juan para que lo reemplace en algunas situaciones, todavía la gran mayoría de deberes del domicilio lo hace Genaro. En su momento tuvimos 7 gatos (si, siete gatos) y tres perros. En la actualidad quedan dos gatos y dos perros y sinceramente ya no queremos mascotas en la casa. Pero este perro nos obnubiló.

      Fue un entrenamiento atípico y si bien logramos lo propuesto, volvimos con más responsabilidades. Estamos buscando darle en adopción, pero hasta ahora no apareció nadie. Existe una perrera en Ezeiza (lugar donde se llevan los perros que se encuentran en la calle), pero sinceramente no sé si estamos preparados en dejarlo ahí. El nombre de Charly fue por su casi igual apariencia con el otro que tuvimos.

! [English] It was an atypical training and although we achieved what we set out to do, we came back with more responsibilities. We are looking for adoption, but so far no one has shown up. There is a kennel in Ezeiza (a place where they take dogs found in the street), but I honestly don't know if we are ready to leave him there.    Para los amantes del ciclismo y amigos de los amigos, nos alegra en demasía cuando se es un activo compañero en las rutas, construyendo sueños. Estoy muy feliz porque si el clima de argentina lo permite, este fin de semana, el amigo Alejandro (Ale) correrá su primera carrera de rural bike.       Antes de continuar quiero contarles que estamos con un par de amigos gestionando la posibilidad de hacernos nuestros jerséis, obviamente exclusivo de Hive. Nuestra amiga @samgiset y su equipo, nos ayudaron en el diseño y próximamente tendremos novedades de los equipos. Estamos buscando presupuesto, ya que solventar estos gastos no es fácil para nosotros. Pero todo se puedo y allá vamos.

      Desde fondos largos de más de 100 km, pasadas en la ruta, en el pasto y también bajo la lluvia. Por supuesto que los trabajos de pendientes en el Adez, también lo fortalecieron. Está muy emocionado por esta experiencia y como ciclista lo entiendo perfectamente. Porque si de algo estoy seguro, es que amará aún más esta disciplina deportiva una vez concluida la carrera. Es un antes y un después, según mi experiencia.

      La carrera tiene dos modalidades generales. La competitiva correrá 50 km y los promocionales correrán 25 km aproximadamente. Él ya está para correr en la competitiva, pero le recomendé que corra en promocionales y que disfrute de su primera experiencia. Ya vendrán otros eventos donde podrá correr en competitivas. Aunque en promocionales, al ser corta, las velocidades que se manejan son rapidísimas.

   Recordando la frase que predominaba en los entrenamientos matinales de la 5 de la mañana y de ahí el nombre 5 AM, que casualmente en la sudadera de la miniatura está su logo. En esos entrenos decíamos “que no te la cuenten”, haciendo referencia de que podemos ver los mejores videos en internet o leer las historias más espectaculares, pero nada supera a vivir la experiencia.

Dos meses de gimnasio.

In this publication I told that in this 2025 I would start the gym, making the second one to my brother Oriel, who had never attended one. This information filled me with enthusiasm, since having a brother enter physical activity is very motivating and it is evident that I had to be by his side, to accompany him and if possible to offer him some of my experience.       Los primeros 15 días fuimos juntos casi todos los días, excepto los domingos y luego, debido a que él comenzó a trabajar nuevamente, no podía concurrir por la mañana, que es el horario que yo puedo. Pero no dude en dejarlo solo por dos razones. La primera es que en el gimnasio existen personas muy preparadas que le ayudarían en su proceso y segundo, porque conozco lo minucioso que es mi hermano y cuando arranca un proyecto que le gusta, no lo abandona hasta el final. Dicho y echo, no abandono y es más, ahora concurre con su hijo mayor en el mismo horario y están cada día más motivados.

! [English] The first 15 days we went together almost every day, except Sundays, and then, because he started working again, he could not come in the morning, which is the time I can. But I didn't hesitate to leave him alone for two reasons.       Como cuento en el video, en el primer mes tuve el asesoramiento de la chica que aparece en la tercera imagen que comparto y sinceramente tuve una excelente experiencia con ella. Pero en el segundo mes, no sé por qué razón pusieron a un profesor y para mi sorpresa, la experiencia está siendo muy positiva. Cada uno con su librito, con su estilo, pero ambos altamente eficaz, siempre y cuando, uno le imprime consistencia a la cuestión.

   Para los que son corredores asiduos y han experimentado correr bajo la lluvia, saben que es realmente muy disfrutadle.       Seguimos entrenando con @zutodoterreno, en todas las disciplina deportivas que hacemos y casi todos los días. Realmente creo que es una linda adicción. En marzo se viene una carrera de Running y Ciclismo, pero ahí estaremos trabajando en la organización. Recuerdo que antes las corría a todas. Pero bueno, ahora las realidades son muy diferentes. Aun así a no quejarse y a seguir dándole a la vida.

We continue training with @zutodoterreno, in all the sport disciplines we do and almost every day. I really think it is a nice addiction. In March we have a Running and Cycling race coming up, but we will be working on the organization there. I remember I used to run all of them. But well, now the realities are very different. Se para el motor, se observa, se charla y se busca soluciones. Un amigo siempre decía, todo tiene solución, el problema, solo es el costo.

     Luego de llegar a casa, de hidratarnos con agua isotónica, preparada de manera casera. Nos dispusimos a cocinar y por supuesto una copa de vino, para dormir una rica siesta. Compartir una copa de vino, para nosotros es muy importante. Sabemos que cualquier entrenador nos dirá que no es lo aconsejable. Pero como siempre digo, no es recomendación de entrenamientos, ni de nutrición lo que hago. Simplemente, cuento, como llevamos a cabo nuestros entrenamientos. “Una de cal y una de arena”.

! [English]After arriving home, we hydrated ourselves with isotonic water, prepared in a homemade way. We set out to cook and of course a glass of wine, to take a nice nap.      Mi reflexión respecto al punto inicial de este post, es que al no ser atletas de elite y todo lo hacemos a pulmón, es que cuidamos nuestras prendas de entrenamientos. Las zapatillas realmente no son económicas y al mojarla, su durabilidad disminuye. Es por eso que más allá que nos encante correr bajo la lluvia, lo evitamos. Un atleta de elite con sponsor, realiza sus entrenamientos más allá de la lluvia. Recuerda, es mi percepción y sinceramente, me gustaría conocer la tuya.

      No me consta si en sus grupos de deportes, cuando se hace una convocatoria, casi nadie responde y en ocasiones te preguntas ¿para qué están en el grupo? Pero bueno, es entendible, ya que todos tenemos nuestras obligaciones cotidianas y no podemos desconcentrarnos de ello. Ahora, lo que no es entendible, porque todos responden cuando hay comida de por medio y más aún, si habrá empanadas santiagueñas fritas, pero como lo hace Trejo 😃. Hoy:

¡Despedimos a la Rusa!

      Aclaremos los tantos y digamos la verdad. La Rusa no es Rusa. Ella es de Letonia, pero lo bautizamos Rusa, porque en su momento la Pelu, a todo el mundo le decía que es rusa. De igual manera, más allá de dónde nació, considero que ella es una mujer del mundo. Estuvo por muchos lugares y por lo que manifiesta, no tiene intención de quedarse. En estos días, su destino será Portugal, porque quiere pasar a saludar a unos amigos que no ve, desde hace 2 años. Luego irá a Inglaterra, porque es ahí donde está pagando la hipoteca de su casa. Estará el tiempo que le lleve resolver sus trámites y luego seguirá viajando con destino incierto.

      Un detalle muy importante fue, que cuando nos referíamos a ella, decíamos La Rusa. Hasta que ella nos corrigió y nos dijo, soy de Lituania y ahora del mundo. En su momento Lituania pertenecía a Rusia, hasta que se independizaron. No conozco bien la historia, pero evidentemente existen heridas que quedan para toda la vida y por supuesto, debemos respetar.

Es increíble lo que pasa, porque muy pocas veces duerme en la carpa, en la intemperie, porque la mayoría de los vecinos, le invitan para que arme su carpa, adentro del terreno. Solo duerme en la intemperie, cuando para en medio del camino.

      Siempre en mis videos deportivos escuchan a la Pelu y en ocasiones también a Trejo. En argentina los denominamos gauchos, porque representan a esas personas que siempre te van a dar una mano. Lo atendieron a Iveta, como a una hija y ella lo dice en el video que realice. Comer en la misma mesa y utilizar toda la casa como si fuera propia. No es de extrañar, porque con nosotros también son así de buenas personas. En este sentido, tengo muchas historias para contar, con respecto a estos gestos que suceden a menudo en el grupo. El Ciclón de Ezeiza tiene mas de 35 años y estoy en el mismo hace aproximadamente 15 años. En este post, publicado en la comunidad @fulldeportes, hablo un poco mas sobre Iveta.

! [English]In my sports videos you always hear Pelu and sometimes Trejo. In Argentina we call them gauchos, because they represent those people who will always give you a hand. They took care of Iveta, like a daughter and she says so in the video I made. Eating at the same table and using the whole house as if it were their own. It is not surprising, because with us they are also such good people. In this sense, I have many stories to tell, regarding these gestures that happen often in the group. El Ciclón de Ezeiza is more than 35 years old and I have been with it for about 15 years. In this post, published in the @fulldeportes community, I talk a little more about Iveta.

      Es por eso que en ocasiones, en mis títulos para mis post, hablo de que el deporte, no es solo deporte. En este caso el ciclismo y el running, que es lo que más hacemos en el grupo, pero en cualquier disciplina deportiva, existen aconteceres que suman mucho a nuestras vidas. Poder conocer a un ser que viene de tan lejos y no sabemos si lo volveremos a ver, es simplemente maravilloso.

   Dios, el universo, nos crea y el viento nos une. Entre dimes y diretes, primeramente entrenaríamos en el Adez, luego haríamos aeropuerto debido a una invitada sorpresa y al final, nos quedamos en el Adez. Algo entrenamos, pero el foco estaba en conocer a la invitada especial que trajo nuestra líder del Ciclón Ezeiza, la Pelu.

In the midst of all this, first we would train at the Adez, then we would go to the airport due to a surprise guest and in the end, we stayed at the Adez. We did some training, but the focus was on meeting the special guest brought by our Ciclón Ezeiza leader, Pelu.

      También apareció el Whass, la leyenda viviente del Ciclón, con su 67 abriles nos sigue dando cátedras, de como mantenerse vigente y más joven que nunca. Según el Whass, la clave está en… (no lo puedo decir acá). Si me dejan en comentarios deseos de conocer la fórmula del Whass, haré un esfuerzo en mis líneas y comprenderán de que habla mi amigo sexagenario.

      Resulta que el esposo de la Pelu, el amigo Trejo, tiene una hermana que vive en Usuahia, argentina. Dicha señora fue testigo de un altercado entre una ciclista y un camión. Por supuesto, se solidarizó con la ciclista y a partir de ahí, generaron una amistad. Esta ciclista le comento que venía a Buenos Aires y de acá tomaría el vuelo que lo llevaría a su país. Cuestión, que le pasaron la dirección de Trejo, para que pasara a saludar y por supuesto, brindarle alojamiento, ya que estamos muy cerca del aeropuerto. La rusa, finalmente llego a Buenos Aires, Ezeiza y parece mentira, pero está viviendo en la casa de la Pelu, hace más de 10 días. (Espero hayan entendido) 😁.

! [English] It turns out that Pelu's husband, the friend Trejo, has a sister who lives in Usuahia, Argentina. She witnessed an altercation between a cyclist and a truck.      Habla 7 idiomas y decidió “salirse” del sistema, porque adora la libertad. En varios países trabajo como voluntaria y por supuesto, su dominio de los idiomas también le permitió conseguir empleos. Volverá a su país solo por un tiempo, básicamente para ahorrar dinero y luego seguir viajando por el mundo.

! [English]She speaks 7 languages and decided to "get out" of the system, because she loves freedom. In several countries she worked as a volunteer and of course, her command of languages also allowed her to get jobs. She will return to her country only for a while, basically to save money and then continue traveling the world.

     Ama la bicicleta, pero no al nivel de entrenar para competir y mucho menos la velocidad. Graba muy poco de sus viajes, ya que no quiere perder tiempo con las cámaras, celulares y demás. Solamente prioriza grabar momentos en su retina. No tiene canal de YouTube y no le gusta crear contenidos. Respeta a los que lo hacen, pero ella solo quiere pedalear y estar en contacto con la naturaleza y por supuesto, con ella. Una persona extremadamente espiritual. Cuando le pregunte si tuvo situaciones peligrosas en su andar, me respondió: Por supuesto que sí, pero con dios, siempre estoy protegida. Donde voy, siempre me abren sus puertas y rara vez duermo en la carpa.

! [English] He loves cycling, but not to the level of training for racing, let alone speed. He records very little of his trips, as he does not want to waste time with cameras, cell phones and so on. Instead, he prioritizes recording moments in his retina. He does not have a YouTube channel and does not like to create content. I respect those who do, but she just wants to pedal and be in contact with nature and of course, with her. An extremely spiritual person.      Luego de dar unas vueltas rabiosas, como decimos en la jerga argentina, cuando rodamos a altas velocidades. El Whass es muy competitivos y por supuesto le puso pimienta a la cuestión y salió un corto entrenamiento, pero muy fructifico. Luego de ello, nos sentamos a disfrutar la charla con nuestra amiga y por supuesto, disfrutar de la caída del sol.

! [English]After a few laps, as we say in Argentine slang, when we rode at high speeds.      En vísperas de los carnavales tradicionales de todos los años, en el pódcast de Hive Argentina quisimos charlar al respecto. Para eso el universo nos envió una persona que casualmente pertenece a una escuela de samba en Río de Janeiro y nos contará todo lo referente al tema.

   Más de 7 horas de pedaleo en un día martes, fuera de casa, para hacer lo que realmente nos apasiona. Con Alejandro y Eric, los compañeros de travesías de esta ocasión, fuimos hasta la localidad de Uribelarrea, de la provincia de Buenos Aires, distante 40 km aproximadamente de Ezeiza. Cambiamos el trayecto en el camino y en total, realizamos más de 110 km.

! [English]More than 7 hours of cycling on a Tuesday, away from home, to do what we are really passionate about. With Alejandro and Eric, our riding partners this time, we went to the town of Uribelarrea, in the province of Buenos Aires, approximately 40 km away from Ezeiza. We changed the route on the way and in total, we did more than 110 km.

      En el video hago una pregunta y ojalá alguien me dé su percepción al respecto. Me paso toda la vida eso y en ocasiones lo padezco. Me han dicho que tiene que ver con las inseguridades del ser humano. Si puedes aportar, te lo agradeceré.

     Antes de llegar a destino, hicimos una parada en el paraje El Taladro. Un pueblo que en ocasiones realizan carreras de MTB y por su silencio y tranquilidad, es ideal para pasar un día de relax en el lugar.

! [English] Before reaching our destination, we made a stop at El Taladro. This is a town that sometimes organizes MTB races and because of its silence and tranquility, it is ideal to spend a relaxing day in this place.

      Fuimos en todo el trayecto en zona dos y pese a tener por momentos viento a favor, nunca salimos de lo pre establecido. Es como se debe entrenar y eso se logra, cuando son pocos los integrantes y ponerse de acuerdo es más factible. Bellezas naturales por doquier y nuestro fiel compañero, el sol, siempre presente.

! [English] We were in zone two all the way and despite having the wind at times, we never went out of the pre-established. This is how we should train and that is achieved when there are few members and agreeing is more feasible. Natural beauty everywhere and our faithful companion, the sun, always present.

     Volviendo pasamos por una estación de servicio (surtidor), donde teníamos dos opciones. La primera, que es la más corta y era volver por donde nos fuimos. Y la segunda, seguir un tramo más, para doblar en la 58 y hacer un poco de tierra. Al fin y al cabo, somos MTB y la tierra es nuestra pasión. Sabíamos que nuestro invitado, Eric, ya venía un tanto cansado y pensamos que en Cañuelas, se volvería en tren. Pero todo lo contrario, quería venir con nosotros y hacer más kilómetros. No me gusto mucho la idea, porque eso representaba mucho tiempo de espera. Pero bueno, se vino con nosotros y pese a los contratiempos, pudo llegar a destino.

! [English]On the way back we passed a gas station, where we had two options. The first, which is the shortest and was to return the way we left. And the second one, to continue one more stretch, to turn at 58 and do some dirt. After all, we are MTBers and dirt is our passion. We knew that our guest, Eric, was already a bit tired and we thought that in Cañuelas he would return by train. But on the contrary, he wanted to come with us and ride more kilometers. I didn't like the idea very much, because it meant a long waiting time. But well, he came with us and in spite of the setbacks, he was able to reach his destination.

     Llegando casi al medio día, el sol lastimaba cada vez mas. Alejandro y Eric, ya estaban sin agua y gracias a un contacto de Alejandro, pudieron llenar sus caramañolas de agua, para concretar los últimos kilómetros.

! [English] It was almost midday, and the sun was hurting more and more. Alejandro and Eric were already out of water and thanks to a contact from Alejandro, they were able to fill their water bottles to complete the last kilometers.

     Estos fondos, como comunmente lo denominamos los ciclistas son de vital importancia, por muchas razónes. En primer lugar, trabajamos la resistencia, tanto física como mental. Por otro lado la cadencia que uno logra, realizando muchos kilómetros, ayuda en demasía. Después de esto, obviamente vienen los trabajos especificos, segmentados a otros ritmos. Diferentes entrenamientos, que en el día de la carrera, se plasma todo junto, en un solo evento.

! [English]These funds, as we cyclists commonly call it, are of vital importance for many reasons. First of all, we work on endurance, both physical and mental. On the other hand, the cadence that one achieves, performing many kilometers, helps a lot. After that, of course, comes the specific work, segmented at other paces. Different workouts, which on the day of the race, is all together, in a single event.

      Al llegar a la parrilla, fuimos consciente de que invertimos toda la mañana en esta travesía. Una bondiola enorme, con la compañia de una rica cerveza, fue el premio a tamaño esfuerzo. Es muy importante comer bien luego de estos entrenamientos y sobre todo, hacerlo sin culpas y disfrutar del momento.

! [English] When we arrived at the grill, we were aware that we had invested the whole morning in this journey. A huge bondiola, with the company of a delicious beer, was the reward for such an effort. It is very important to eat well after these trainings and above all, to do it without guilt and enjoy the moment.

     Mi aplicación llegando a casa me marco 111 km. En el caso de Alejandro y Eric, un poco más, ya que ellos viven un tanto más lejos. Pero superamos las tres cifras, que era el verdadero desafío del día. Un gran entrenamiento donde palabritas (mi bicicleta), se portó muy bien.

   El sofocante calor de febrero en casi todo el territorio nacional de argentina, con sensaciones térmicas que rondaban los 42° en algunas provincias, invitaba a quedarse en el “confort de nuestras casas” e intentar sobrellevar la situación. Pero nada de eso, en la mañana habíamos pactado con parte del grupo del Ciclón de Ezeiza de ir a hasta la ruta 6 y así fue. Hoy:

Ruta 6

[English]The sweltering February heat in almost all the national territory of Argentina, with thermal sensations that hovered around 42° in some provinces, invited to stay in the "comfort of our homes" and try to cope with the situation. But nothing of the sort, in the morning we had agreed with part of the Ciclón de Ezeiza group to go up to route 6 and so it was. Today:

      Acostumbrado a realizar miniaturas, también las realizo para el grupo de ciclismo. Me gusta animar a los compañeros, porque a la mayoría nos gusta salir en los videos realizando nuestra pasión y al ver una miniatura, muchos se enganchan a la rodada. En esta ocasión, estimamos debido al calor, no tuvimos muchos asistentes, pero con los que estábamos, era más que suficiente.

Used to making miniatures, I also make them for the cycling group. I like to encourage my colleagues, because most of us like to be in the videos doing our passion and when they see a miniature, many of them get hooked on the ride. On this occasion, we estimate that due to the heat, we did not have many attendees, but with those who were there, it was more than enough.

     Llegamos en horario por suerte. El Whas, la leyenda viviente activa del grupo, porque también contamos con Luque, que debido al Parkinson, ya no puede salir con nosotros. Y también el amigo Alejandro, que sigue bajando de peso y es el más animado del grupo, ya que su transformación lo hace muy feliz. Para él es una satisfacción salir con nosotros y para nosotros, es un orgullo que podamos ayudar a personas comunes a salir de su zona de confort. Alejando es chofer de colectivos y pasa muchas horas sentado, manejando y con malos hábitos, por muchos años engordo en demasía. Hasta que se encontró con el ciclismo y la historia es otra.

! [English] Luckily we arrived on time. El Whas, the active living legend of the group, because we also have Luque, who due to Parkinson, can no longer go out with us. And also our friend Alejandro, who continues to lose weight and is the most animated of the group, as his transformation makes him very happy. De igual manera lo comparto, porque esa postal con la luna frente a nosotros es sublime. La imagen no dice nada, te puedo contar y quizás algo captes. Ahora, te recomiendo que lo vivas y no necesariamente en bicicleta. Lo puedes hacer caminando. Es algo tan maravilloso y es ahí, cuando agradeces haber salido de tu zona de confort.

! [English] To show you the video, this time I didn't make a GIF and some of the captures, being in motion, didn't come out well. I share it anyway, because that postcard with the moon in front of us is sublime. The image doesn't say anything, I can tell you and maybe you will catch something.      Se nos hizo casi las 21:00 hs y llegamos a un lugar donde el Whas, nos invitó un par de cerveza y unas papas fritas. Si @mamaemigrante, comimos papas fritas 😁. Fueron 3 cervezas coronas y mucha charla en el medio. Como pudimos nos paramos y continuamos el regreso. El punto para disfrutar del descanso no me gusto, porque todavía faltaba como 15 km para llegar y una vez el cuerpo frío, cuesta el doble arrancar.

! [English]It was almost 9pm and we got to a place where the Whas, invited us a couple of beer and some fries. Yes @mamaemigrante, we had fries 😁. It was 3 beer crowns and lots of chatter in between. As best we could we stopped and continued on our way back. I didn't like the point to enjoy the break, because there was still about 15 km to go and once the body is cold, it's twice as hard to start.

     El tercer tiempo en el ciclismo, y sobre todo en el MTB, es realmente muy disfrutadle. Se genera tanta conexión que, muchas veces, hacemos como una especie de catarsis, que en otras situaciones no lo haríamos. Contamos anécdotas o datos curiosos de nuestras vidas, a veces muy privadas. Y lo dejo, ahí 😁…

! [English] The third half in cycling, and especially in MTB, is really enjoyable. It generates so much connection that, many times, we do a kind of catharsis, which in other situations we wouldn't do it. We tell anecdotes or curious facts about our lives, sometimes very private. And I leave it, there 😁 ....

     Soy una persona que suda muchísimos y pierdo mucho líquido en las rodadas. Por eso, la preocupación del Whas y la insistencia de que compre agua, debido a que me olvide la caramañola. No recuerdo que me haya pasado alguna vez eso y es por eso que me extraño. Sumando al sudor, el polvo del camino, mis piernas quedan realmente sucias.

! [English] I am a person who sweats a lot and I lose a lot of liquid during my rides. That's why the Whas was so concerned and insisted that I buy water, because I forgot my water bottle. I don't remember that ever happening to me and that's why I'm surprised. Adding to the sweat, the dust from the road, my legs are really dirty.

     Este hombre es uno de los responsables de que arrancara a correr a pie y luego en la bicicleta. Él fue quien me persuadió para que arrancara y es por eso que le debo respeto y reconocimiento. Se llama Óscar Raúl y le dicen El Whas (una larga historia sobre su sobrenombre). Tiene en la actualidad 68 años y arranco en el ciclismo debido a una rotura de ligamentos, hace más de 40 años. Admirable como rueda y arrastra al pelotón.

! [English] This man is one of the people responsible for getting me to start running on foot and then on my bike. He was the one who persuaded me to start and that is why I owe him respect and recognition. His name is Oscar Raul and they call him El Whas (a long story about his nickname).    Siempre elevando el tope en los entrenamientos y sumando alternativas para estar mejor, aprovechar las vacaciones de los niños, por consiguiente tenemos más tiempo para entrenar. Es por eso, que además del running con @zutodoterreno y el ciclismo, también estamos concurriendo al Gym, del cual le debo un post, contando mi experiencia en el mismo. Pero en esta ocasión, vengo con un entrenamiento a medias, ya que hubo un accidente en el camino, que nos imposibilitó seguir. Hoy:

La FORTUNA desafortunada

      Partimos del COTO (Supermercado) de Ezeiza, rumbo nuevamente a la Fortuna. Previstos más de 80 km de puro pedaleo, en asfalto y gran parte de tierra, como nos gusta a los amantes del rural bike. Braian, vino con dos amigos nuevos y eso, fue algo que no me gusto. ¿Por qué? Muy simple: Al hacer tantos kilómetros con personas que no lo conoces, en su gran mayoría están arrancando y no es de mala onda, pero la idea es ir a un ritmo parejo, sin esperar a nadie y que el entrenamiento se produzca de verdad. Por supuesto, no dije nada y a los pocos kilómetros se volvieron. Seguramente en el futuro, cuando estén bien rodados, ellos nos llevarán a nosotros. Partimos

We left from COTO (Supermarket) in Ezeiza, heading back to La Fortuna. We had planned more than 80 km of pure pedaling, on asphalt and a large part of dirt, as we rural bike lovers like to do. Braian, came with two new friends and that was something that I did not like. Why? Very simple: When doing so many kilometers with people you do not know, most of them are just starting and it is not bad vibes, but the idea is to go at an even pace, without waiting for anyone and that the training really happens. Of course, I didn't say anything and after a few kilometers they turned back. Surely in the future, when they are well trained, they will take us with them. We set off.

     Cuando hablamos de fondo, estamos diciendo de muchos kilómetros y normalmente lo hacemos en zona 2. Donde el promedio de velocidad ronda, según el viento, entre 18 y 25 km/hs. Cuando bajamos a la tierra, note que Braian, en contra viento, iba a 27 aproximadamente y ya eso, me hacía ruido. Sabía que estaba quemando de más y debía dosificar.

! [English] When we talk about background, we are talking about many kilometers and we normally do it in zone 2. Where the average speed, depending on the wind, is between 18 and 25 km / hr.       Luego que pasamos la ruta 6 y encaramos camino a la Fortuna, nos dimos cuenta de que la tierra estaba un tanto húmeda, lo que hacía todo más pesado; Además, del barro que debíamos sortear y la cantidad de mosquitos que nos atacaban en el camino. Faltando aproximadamente 3 km para llegar a la Fortuna, a Braian se le descontrola la bicicleta y al barro fue a parar. No vi nada, porque yo iba tirando al pelotón. Cuando Ale me avisa, veo a Braian ya en el suelo, sin poder moverse.

[English] After we passed route 6 and faced the road to Fortuna, we realized that the land was a little wet, which made everything heavier; In addition, the mud that we had to overcome and the number of mosquitoes that attacked us on the road. Approximately 3 km from Fortuna, Braian's bike went out of control and he ended up in the mud. I did not see anything, because I was pulling the peloton. When Ale told me, I saw Braian already on the ground, unable to move.

     Ale que está haciendo sus primeros fondos, entro en pánico y no sabía como asistirlo, ya que no se podía mover. En mi caso, por haber sufrido caídas y estado en varias, lo tomé más tranquilo. Lo primero que atine fue en llamar a Trejo, esposo de la Pelu y creadores del grupo El Ciclón de Ezeiza. No teníamos señal y hasta que en un momento puse un mensaje el grupo de WhatsApp y muchos se hicieron eco de la situación y avisaron a Trejo para que nos buscara. Punto de encuentro, en la YPF (surtidor) de la ruta tres, distante 20 km de donde nos encontrábamos. En lo particular estaba feliz, ya que no me hubiese gustado que nos agarre la noche en el medio del campo.

     Cuando el hombro se sale, realmente es muy doloroso y lo digo porque me paso. Braian no podía mover el brazo y sospechábamos que tenía el brazo salido de lugar.      Cuando volvíamos, me di cuenta de que más allá de que disfrutamos de pedalear y disfrutar de la naturaleza, muchas veces no lo observamos como corresponde. Siempre vamos a altas velocidades, prendidos de nuestros manubrios para no caernos y no perder al pelotón, que nos perdemos de muchas maravillas en el camino. Y lo digo, porque al venir despacio, acompañando el herido, pudimos disfrutar de una puesta del sol increíble. Un momento único, del cual agradecimos al universo por tamaño regalo.

! [English] On the way back, I realized that even though we enjoy cycling and enjoying nature, many times we don't observe it properly. We always go at high speeds, clinging to our handlebars so as not to fall and not to lose the peloton, that we miss so many wonders along the way.      Llegamos al lugar, casi simultáneamente que Trejo, cargamos las bicicletas y volvimos sanos y a salvo, gracias a dios. Trejo es de los que denominamos gaucho.
