In John 10:10, Jesus tells us he wants us to have an abundant life––not a barely get by life, not life of regret, but an abundant life.

So the question he gave us is not, is there anything wrong with it?

The question is what is the wise thing to do?

Also, Jesus tells us that when we throw a party, we ought to invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind…people who can’t repay us.

Run the race, press on toward the goal.

Belonging often happens by having, knowing, paying, doing, achieving or conforming. Who is allowed to belong where is commonly set by those who have power, privilege or position.

Can you imagine unexpectedly receiving an Incredible Gift, something you never imagined, something you never expected? What would you do?

For Paul, it was pretty sure thing. He didn’t seem to have any doubt or any question. He saw the vision, immediately left to share the gospel. We call that Paul’s Macedonian call.
