The reparations conversation was reignited this year when Democratic POTUS candidates were asked directly if they support the idea of reparations. Will there be any serious movement towards a landmark show of tangible restitution from the U.S. government to U.S.-born descendants of enslaved Blacks, or will this be just one more carrot dangled with the real purpose of gaining votes during an election season?
