Eva and I vote early in person in Virginia's 2020 elections. Here all about our harrowing journeys at the polls and what went through our minds as we surveilled our fellow voters. Oh, and my mom insisted that I tell you all that, at least in Virginia, people age 65 and older are allowed to drive up and vote from their cars. Are you happy, Mom? Do I still get to live here for another month? Good.

And I’m a hypochondriac, so then I started to feel sick. This led to her infecting loved ones and me finding out what it’s like to take a dump while wearing an N95 mask.

Also on the docket? I take my first bike ride as an adult man, which lead to me spending a day with an ice pack on my taint, the magic of elementary school Thanksgiving meals, my horrible career as a drummer, the death of Eddie Van Halen, and whether it’s the fate of all genius ultimately usher in a wake of lesser imitators.
