I used to be that person who was obsessed w/ being busy. Always had to be doing something otherwise I felt anxious.

2019-2020 saw me healing from sudden trauma + forced into isolation during an epidemic! It rocked my world yet stretched me beyond what I allowed myself to believe was possible.

Time is a gift.

Not something we’re entitled to.

When I decided to go full time entrepreneur I knew that meant becoming more selfish with my time. Otherwise what’s the point in going against the status quo and disrupting the norm?

I made a promise to myself that I would work on being more present. More intentional. More respectful of my time and that of others. Since up rooting from Mexico and finding my feet further north, some days I think WTF am I doing? Where’s my community? My people? My purpose?

Breathe.

As I then remind myself to celebrate every moment I get!

For a long time I was following the “wrong strategy” and chasing the count of followers.

It was time consuming, energy draining and tbh hardly converting at all. My biz coach suggested that I switch things up a bit. Ditch ghosty + fake accounts & start to engage with genuine followers.

Mild heart attack as my following went down about 1k+ over night.

Here’s the thing: the purge allowed for the right people who want my help to actually find me, see my content, save it, use it and even share it. 🤭🧡

I don’t really understand the whole algorithm thing and it’s not something I invest any time or money learning.

Don’t do what the popular opinion says to do. 
Just do what feels more aligned and genuine to you.

Here I am:

👉🏼Ya home girl who decided to ditch the classroom & become a full time entrepreneur.

👉🏼Ya home girl with over a decade of experience in sales and community growth.

👉🏼Ya homie who scaled a business THE WRONG WAY!!

Ya homie is also:

✌🏼Someone who works through anxiety when things feel out of control.

✌🏼Someone who compares her self to people doing 10X more.

✌🏼Someone who invested almost $100K in professional help + self development.

Does this stop me from wanting to create a bigger community of conscious role models and expand a successful organisation?

Hell nah.

Let me tell ya, for a long time, I would hide “what you don’t see” but since stepping into the most uncomfortable and foreign (for me) vulnerable waters… Wow! everything rocketed.

Let this be your reminder that what you see on social media is the polished version of what’s possible.

Choose your mentors intuitively, find ways to fuel from the inside-out and work on surrounding yourself with people who help you feel like anything is possible!

I challenge you, to think about what you’re holding back and not telling others about you?

- Authentically be and share you! I started sharing my journey from educator to entrepreneur.

- Ask your ideal clients what they want?I created a pretty simple survey and invited my teacher-friends to give me some feedback. Very quickly and organically I started receiving Dm’s ‘how do I work with you’?

- Set some goals & roll with it! In the beginning, I thought wow, working with 1-2 teachers sounds dreamy, then 5, 10, 15 and surprised myself by booking out until March this year.

- You really don’t have to do it like everyone else! I didn’t have a dream team (yet), I was very much a 1 woman show. I refused to pay for advertising, I didn’t (and still don’t) have a big following. Only now, 12 months into it, I’ve got a little team to help me and working with a business coach to help create personalised strategies.

Accidents happen!

My approach is development based not solely performance driven!!

Here’s the thing, if you’re looking for performance driven, short-term and field specific results... mentoring might not be for you.

But. If you’re like me (a few years ago) and feeling stuck, undervalued, unsure if teaching is still your purpose or just a job, looking for community, wondering if there’s a holistic approach to transitioning from classroom to profitable side hustle.. Then yeah, hi. I’m here to help.

I teach from experience. I simply share what has worked for me in terms of ditching old beliefs, habits & within 12months of being in business have managed to build + scale a community and net worth that triples my teaching salary.

In 2021 I’m committed to helping another hundred teachers do it too.

And so, Teacher friend, I want to know... if you could find your purpose again and turn it into a side hustle or full time profit... what would you love to be doing??
