Patrick Ross is a musician and music educator living in Vermont. He plays numerous stringed instruments, teaches young people and adults musicianship and music theory, and is an accomplished player. He’s a very thoughtful and deliberate person. Baruch and Patrick discuss Patrick’s relationship with music, and with life, and we’ll hear some of Patrick’s music. Eva Salina spoke with Baruch while volunteering on a project in Istanbul, celebrating the role of women in keeping culture and daily life alive during times of war and disaster. Eva’s new CD Sudbina is a collection of music from the Balkans and Roma people. Eva was called to this music, as a child, and it has woven itself into her life. Hear some of her story and selections from Sudbina.

Her platform is one that focuses on environmental sustainability, social justice, and people over profits.
