Zeb Bangash and Michael Winograd, founders of Sandaraa, bringing together music from different parts of the world to make something new and delightful!

“There are shared languages between people and cultures you wouldn’t think have much in common,” reflects clarinetist Michael Winograd, half of the duo driving Sandaraa. “We’re going for whatever helps us understand the music and songs,” adds popular Pakistani singer and composer Zeb Bangash. “We want everyone to share that experience.”

Sha’an Mouliert is a mother, an educator, and an activist.  Sha’an lives in Vermont where she co-founded the African American Alliance of the Northeast Kingdom and serves on the board of Vermonters for Criminal Justice Reform as well as being a long-time member of WILPF (Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom).

Sha’an shares some of her story, including how she transitioned from working at Sports Illustrated in New York City to working on social change in rural Vermont.
