Parafiend

Poveglia is a name that is pretty well-known for it's awful history. Not only did this small island become to last home for those suffering with the Black Death, but it was also the last stop for many others with mental illness and those that were elderly. Hearing the history of this place makes us fully believe something still lingers there that is no longer alive. We also have two listener tales where one hears the mysterious beating of drums of those from the past, and the other comes in contact with a sad spirit that leaves marks on those she touches. We finish out the episode with a cryptid that for once smells nice. But it's also kind of an a-hole.

The court case of a lifetime is presented in this week's episode! It isn't often that we hear about ghostly testimony being allowed in a courtroom, but in the case of the Greenbrier Ghost, that's exactly what happened. Join us as we go through the fascinating case where a ghost helped convict her murderer. We also have two listener tales where one lady comes face-to-face with a murder victim, and the other is filled with a ghost that apparently loves to watch TV. We finish out the episode with a cryptid that is definitely a monster and 100% an a-hole.  All we know is, we don't want to ever see it.

This week's episode is wild! Five disappearances in the span of five years in the same area is super weird. Was it due to nefarious purposes? Or something a bit more...paranormal. Join us as we go through each disappearance and the theorizes surrounding the triangle.  We also have two listener tales where one is a potential phone call from the other side, and the other is what happens when you have a ton of violence and heartbreak inside of one building. We finish out the episode with a cryptid might just be a real like Titan OR a fuzzy nightcrawler. We leave it up to you to decide.

As you can tell from the title, we are going deep into the Phoenix Gold Mine to explore some haunted tunnels and maybe be richer for the experience. We learn about a mountain murder, a male witch, and an extra page from the Cryptid Catalog for a mine specific cryptid. Our listener tales are also gold standard. They are dark and we feel remorse that our submitters had to go through that but we are thankful they gifted us with them. We have a killer spirit board section and video evidence review to round it all out.

Strap in for an Isabell takeover! This week, she's changing it up more than you might expect. This episode is all True Crime and has zero of our usual paranormal spice. We are visiting one of the strangest True Crimes of Japan's history. Isabell breaks down the crimes and terror in Osaka and the rest of Japan by the crime group known as The Monster With 21 Faces. Join Andrew in hearing about this wild ride and listen to Isabell explore the details and provide some insight into the potential suspects, even though the case is officially unsolved. This one was a blast and we want to hear what you Fiends thought of it. Sadly, this episode has no listener stories, cryptid catalog, or video evidence. Trust us, there's more than enough content to make up for it.

This episode we are visiting Colombia and taking a trip to the countries most haunted hotel. Trigger warning, there is a heavy amount of suicide in this episode due to the locations background. Beyond that, the hotel is a hotbed of various paranormal activity. Check it out and let us know which is your favorite, or perhaps, least favorite. As a side dish to our main course we are serving up two listener tales. One is a mountain of a meal with a hitchhiking spirit and the other may as well be home cooking because it may just warm your heart by the end. To top it all off we have some spirit boards. Get an extra helping of Granger Smith on one and a throw back to Medieval torture on the other.

Today we are talking about the Bellaire House. This place is the textbook definition of creepy. It has it all - ghosts, demons, weird mist things that can apparently pick up a dog and throw it. I don't know about you Fiends, but this house seems like a scary place to visit. We also have two listener tales where one might just have the doppelgänger of a mom looking for trouble, and the other is a great example of the possibility of portals. We finish out the episode with a cryptid that not only looks like a hobbit, but likes to eat children... *gag*

***WARNING WARNING WARNING***
Do not play these games ever. They are not worth it!

Here we are again with some crazy summoning rituals that (as said above) should never be played. They are super entertaining to listen to, but never to perform. Listen at your own risk, Fiends!

The Fort Garry Hotel is a grand and luxurious escape in Canada if you need to get away for a weekend. The website for this hotel boasts beautiful architecture, fine dining, and gorgeous rooms. But what they don't disclose is the hauntings that occur throughout the building. Between blood pouring down the walls in room 202 and ghost apparitions standing at the foot of the bed, it's a wonder they haven't talked about it. We also have two listener tales where one is another two-parter that leaves us chilled, and the other is a potential doppelganger that just wants to party like a rockstar. For Video Evidence we watch a poltergeist moving around a pub. He probably just wants a drink. We finish out the episode with a cryptid that is 100% a hoax, but soooo damn entertaining.

Trains, planes, and UFOs. Granger Taylor was a bright and shy young man. Known to his friends as "Gentle Ben," he was a great friend. He was a wizard mechanic, but soon found that the machines of Earth weren't quite enough for him. So Granger did what any typical person would do when bored--found a way to contact aliens and have them invite him on a 42-month interstellar journey. Did Granger actually enter a spaceship back on the night of November 29, 1980 and travel across space? Or did something much more tragic happen to this gentle giant? We also have two listener tales where one we get a two-for-one and they are spooky! And the other is a chance encounter with the spirit of a murder victim. For Video Evidence we watch a video that makes Isabell laugh every time she sees it. We finish out the episode with a cryptid that just wants you to leave his trees alone. Okay, man?
