The horror ensues as Shane and company make their way through the desolate halls, away from the nightmarish creatures that just appeared. When the outside doors become blocked, the group makes for the elevators. But when the power goes out, they must escape the elevator before it falls!

Shane and company head back into the ship after the weird ship movement outside. They are all on edge. A feeling which doesn't lessen when they find every other passenger gone. Where is everyone?

As they move through the ship they notice weird things like dripping water, blinking lights, and deserted hallways. But when they reach the lobby they find something extremely disturbing... Shane's nightmares are becoming reality.

The fog has come in and Shane knows that danger looms. But when Michelle gets caught cheating, several other people get dragged into Shane's horror. Erika is starting to believe the warnings and now it looks like everyone is in danger.

Erika hopes Shane can overcome his ill feelings and enjoy the night. Michelle pushes for everyone to get drunk at a dance club. While they're dancing and drinking, Shane gets an eerie feeling that draws him outside. A thick fog has rolled in... just like his father said.

After finding Shane acting weird, Erika goes along with Michelle's plan and hides in a piano bar. Erika's not sure why Shane refuses to tell her what's wrong, but after a couple hours of hiding out she feels it's enough. Her feelings are confirmed when Shane appears with tears in his eyes, completely distraught.

Shane does not care for Erika's friend Michelle, but he puts up with her. This whole trip is for Erika. He wants to make it a very special birthday. In fact, their first night on the ship and Shane and Erika christen it with a sexually charged night featuring the video camera. Things seem to be going well until a strange door knock in the middle of the night forces Shane up. While no one is at the door, there is a moth. Shane follows it onto the deck where he sees someone he never thought he'd see. Someone who shouldn't be there.

Shane and Erika make it to Vancouver! The cruise is tomorrow so they rest up in a hotel and have an unusually romantic night. Things seem to be getting better, especially when Shane wakes up the next morning headache free, and void of nightmares. He grabs Erika some breakfast and they head out. They visit some hot spots around Vancouver until it's time to board the ship. And while other surprises were ruined for Erika's birthday, Shane has one more up his sleeve.
