Tuesday morning I was mobbing on my usual walk to get to the bus stop. From a distance I saw this dog running lose and a big man yelling at him. As I got closer, the dog started barking at me and barking at his aggressive pet parent. I yelled sternly for the dog to leave me alone because he wouldn't listen to his owner. The Greasy fat owner threatened to beat the dog' a#$...I told him not to do that to him. Finally, the dog began running from his owner again. This experience caused me to think about deeper issues pertaining to pets with abusive pet parents. The dog was confused by the owner yelling at him and chasing him. It was a shocking experience nonetheless. I am thankful all is well but I am concerned about the dog. Ironically, he is black with a grey patch and a big puppy with sharp teeth. I also wondered why the owner was so abusive and what type of person he was and did he hate the dogs black coat? I also experienced a Karen with her dog and how she tried to act when i was crossing the street. Take me to 1945 please. Just food for thought. Thank You for Listening

The desire to do business overseas has resignated within the hearts of entrepreneurs of color. Traveling enhances the mind, and more significantly, you can share your authentic brand with others. When I travel overseas it saddens me to see people that look like me in subservient roles. Similarly, many immigrants migrate to America, and try to forget their roots. This code is imbedded in restricted economic circles. We need to support our brothers and sisters all over the world. Conversely, immigrants migrate to America, open up businesses but refuse to do business with people of color. Or how about you are being judged because the immigrant has subscribed to the narrative to not trust people of color? I believe that if we work together and stop trying to conform to a system that was designed for inequality, we can change the world. I'm asking you to take off the cloak of fear. It is blinding us from unity and collaborations. If you refuse to do business with a person of color yet you are stationed in communities of color collecting ebt, ask yourself your purpose.

I had a dream the other night about something full of important symbolism. In the dream, I really needed a car. There was a wealthy white woman that was selling a black Honda that was in tip top condition. When I tried to inquire about purchasing the car, she was rude and told me she was already speaking to buyers. They were other white women. A friend of hers appeared in the dream. She just came back from an international trip. She had a beautiful black Louie Vuitton suitcase. The two women spoke and I began to feel shut out from access. I woke up. Some white women are a part of the oppressive system if you are benefiting from anything black. This segment breaks down our current situation and to create access and change for 2022. Tough conversation creates bold leaders of today. Could that be you?

This is an episode that is a must listen to regarding many facets of Black people and the inability to take care our physical health while under the harsh conditions of not having access to resources during and after slavery. Access to Healthcare resources are a continued problem in the United States. Black medicine men and women helped keep Black men and women healthy for decades and present time. They were demonized and were under harsh scrutiny. Often times, black people were put in compromising positions in which they were forced to witness things or keep secrets from their oppressors.

Like a raging sea, the number of cars packed with families are moving to the hills or where real estate is valued high. The past conditions reminds us that we are not too far away from these ideologies. As we parallel our history, it is interesting to finally get the truth we have been seeking. People are afraid to speak about Race. This proves that we are still living in the slave phantom body.

In order to progress in our future. We must have a blue print to understand where we are going. We have to remember our stories and why work was difficult for people of color decade after decade. Some of the current issues today can be traces back from our recent history as it relates to many different opportunities. Prison Systems began after slavery and more are erected today. There were only certain industries available for people of color. Times have changed but disparities exist in nearly every facet of our lives. We can make a change as the human race by working towards good and equi

This episode answers many questions about economic disparities and the destruction of m a many black families. After slavery, and during the early 1900's, black men were on an exodus to find work to feed their families. They were stereotyped as being lazy. The truth was, there were no jobs or very difficult labor for low to no pay. The Black Codes were also enforced putting familes at unrest. Immigration was important to buffer opportunities from recently freed slaves and their descendants. When I assess today, I know we must continue the mission of life. There were and are real disparities and fears around not having economic resources within BIPOC communities. What type of behaviors blossom out of such hardships? My Ancestors, were often times forced to sneak food to feed themselves or their family. Sometimes they wouldn't have enough to eat and would hide food or having an unhealthy relationship with food. What about the harsh punishments for stealing food as a slave?Fear around money and not having the means to live a full life has been in our experiences and the experiences of our ancestors. This is a call to action to heal from these wounds. The answers are your ancestors. Listen to their stories. You will find that in them is you. If your looking for some fire 🔥 here is a spark.

During the late 1800's and early 1900's, a great migration occurred in the United States from European countries. Many were warned about being considered black or non- white once they arrived and the hardships that would be experienced. Black people were considered less than and a status you would never want to be associated with. The status of "white" became an important entry point for new comers to make claim too--- even if they denied their ethnicity. Some immigrants sent their white looking family members to the US to make a better life for themselves. Sound familiar? Looking into the white card and how having access to this status has left people of color trailing far behind, while others have not had to work as hard to gain equal access.
