I was granted the miracle of healing from a terminal disease, and yet life hasn’t become any easier. Challenges still arise like clockwork. So I focus on my heart, recite the Novena, and wait—patiently—for the best possible outcome. And yes, I still fret. :)
So much has changed for the better. And I’m still waiting, patiently, for a few things to catch up.
No matter what happens, I keep calling myself lucky—my self-proclaimed prophecy.
As I listen to this Novena each day, I center my awareness on my heart—the seat of my soul, and, as I currently believe, the part of my body that connects me to the other side. Sometimes I move through my daily tasks or exercise while the Novena plays, but I always try to focus on my heart.
Speaking the Novena aloud alongside the recording adds power to this prayer.
I am not a doctor or medical professional. The content shared on this podcast is based entirely on my personal experience as a patient who lived with terminal Stage 4 gastric cancer. Nothing discussed on the Paranormal Happy podcast should be interpreted as medical advice.
I am simply sharing my journey—the choices I made for myself and the information I gathered, as I understood it at the time.
Please keep in mind that what worked for me may not work for everyone. Each person’s experience with gastric cancer is unique.
My hope is that my story may resonate with others or offer a sense of connection—but it is not a substitute for professional medical guidance. Any decisions or actions you take based on what you hear here are entirely your own responsibility.
I have been praying this Novena daily since July 2024. I credit this wonderful prayer with healing me and giving me my life back.
As each dreaded CT scan approaches, fear draws me even deeper into prayer. I pray for half an hour, sometimes an hour. But it never feels like a chore. When I focus on my heart, a wave of happiness fills my chest so powerfully that I often cry—from gratitude, from relief, from joy, from something more beautiful than words.
I highly recommend it.

Guilt can make us hate ourselves. That hatred corrodes both mind and body. I had to learn to accept my mistakes and forgive myself in order to begin healing. I still make mistakes every day—but now, it’s easier not to dwell on them.

What are we without the people around us? Can we always say the right thing? Do the right thing? Can we love unconditionally—and be loved in return? We can strive.

When you’re in pain, when you’re terrified, the last thing you think about is your kindness.
In the weeks leading up to my diagnosis, I sensed something was wrong, but not with my body. I knew I needed to become less judgmental, more patient, more kind. Then the diagnosis came—horrific, life-altering—and for weeks I was nothing but a ball of fear.
Eventually, the realization came: if I wanted to heal my body, I had to begin by healing my mind and soul.
Am I the kindest person I know? No.
Could I be more patient at times? Yes.
But I am not the same woman I was four years ago—or even a year ago. Or five months ago.
I pray for the gift of kindness and patience, because at the end of it all, nothing else matters.

Novena to the Infant Jesus of Prague in Urgent Need
To be said for nine days or nine consecutive hours. Or as many times as you can. Aloud or silently in your mind. Novena has made me feel strong, healthy and safe.
O Jesus, Who said, "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you," through the intercession of Mary, Your Most Holy Mother, I knock, I seek, I ask that my prayer be granted.
(Make your request)
O Jesus, Who said, "All that you ask of the Father in My Name, He will grant you," through the intercession of Mary, Your Most Holy Mother, I humbly and urgently ask your Father in your name that my prayer will be granted.
(Make your request)
O Jesus, Who said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away but My word shall not pass away," through the intercession of Mary Your Most Holy Mother, I feel confident that my prayer will be granted.
(Make your request)
Amen
