Bobby Mackey's Music World, located in Wilder, Kentucky,
holds a dark reputation as a portal to hell. The story begins with the
building's origins as a slaughterhouse in the early 20th century, known as
"Hell's Gate." Within its walls, unspeakable horrors occurred—brutal
murders, grisly rituals, and the presence of the infamous serial killer, Pearl
Bryan, whose decapitated body was found nearby.
Fast forward to the 1970s when Bobby Mackey, a country
singer, purchased the building and transformed it into a bustling honky-tonk.
Little did he know that he was about to confront a malevolent force beyond his
wildest imagination. It wasn't long before visitors and staff started
experiencing disturbing phenomena.
Reports of violent apparitions, poltergeist activity, and
encounters with dark entities became alarmingly frequent. The spirits seemed
determined to make their presence known, leaving no doubt that something
sinister lingered within the walls of Bobby Mackey's Music World.
The paranormal floodgates had opened, earning the
establishment the infamous moniker of the "Portal to Hell." Skeptics
and believers alike were drawn to witness the eerie occurrences firsthand,
seeking answers to the unexplainable.
Over the years, the legends surrounding the location grew
stronger. Stories circulated about an entity named "Johanna,"
believed to be a spirit trapped in the afterlife, her tragic fate tied to the
building. Many claim to have communicated with her through EVP (Electronic
Voice Phenomena) recordings and séances, revealing a tragic tale of love,
betrayal, and a violent end.
Despite the skeptics' dismissals, the paranormal activity at
Bobby Mackey's Music World persisted, intensifying the belief that the bar stands
on a crossroads between the living and the dead.
To this day, visitors and investigators continue to witness
unsettling occurrences within the establishment. The haunting echoes of its
gruesome past seem intertwined with the present, forever branding Bobby
Mackey's Music World as a place where the supernatural and mortal realms
converge, a true portal to hell.
Cautionary tales and chilling encounters continue to fuel
the curiosity of those who seek to unravel the mysteries surrounding this
infamous location. However, one thing remains certain: entering Bobby Mackey's
Music World is an invitation to the unknown, where the veil between our world
and the realms beyond grows thin, and the forces of darkness await those who
dare to venture within.

Haunting experiences:
Phones ringing in the middle of the night and no one there when picked up in the middle of the night.
Pillows tossed when cleaning services make the bed.
Sales manager stayed the night and returned to her room to have the bathtub full of blue water.
Doors closing for no reason, sound of hospital carts outside their door, and the 14th floor smells like antiseptic or ‘band-aid’ smell.

I’m finishing up my trip to Texas today. For our last day, we stayed at Emily Morgan hotel in San Antonio. From the beginning I got a bad vibe. I don’t fuck with demons and shit, never have. I’m not really a guy that’s scared of a lot, I like doing some crazy stuff, but demons and ghosts i’ve never messed with. Starting off with the elevator. Me and my brother were going down the the pool. As a joke, I say out loud “These ghosts are chill, maybe they want to come swimming with us.” Right as I said that the elevator stops. Me and him are both confused because no one pressed the button. I tell him “Someone is probably getting on” The door opens to absolutely no one. I nervously laugh, but thought it was kind of funny because they were proving they were there, which was cool. After a little bit, we went out to dinner. Coming back to the elevator, I say “Uh-oh guys, we might get haunted, very spooky.” Every light in the lobby goes out. The women at the front desk calmly goes “Yep, they heard you.” Well, I was just laughing it off again. We went back, showered, and slept well. All until 5:30 in the morning when my dad taps me on the shoulder and goes “Yo, near the door, there’s a little girl” I just say out loud “what the fuck” as I turn to the hallway area the door was. Right there, a little girl was there for maybe 2 seconds. Needless to say, I was freaked out. So, around 8:30 we wake up and get ready for the day. My brother was on his phone looking through pictures and videos. He says from across from the room “wow really scary Smu-Mustang-Gang, you got me” I go “what are you talking about” and he says “the stupid video you put on my phone at 2:56 this morning” I put nothing on his phone. His phone was also not where he put it the night before. The video was a dark screen and extremely loud breathing I think. I’ll attach the video if anyone wants to check it out or if anyone that knows stuff about these kind of things wants to tell me there thoughts on it.
