Teaching kids self-control is much more than saying "no" when they are tempted with something they want but shouldn't have. It's helping them choose the right way over the wrong way.

Asking for forgiveness is hard, but is needed to teach kids how to have good relationships and how to restore bad ones with you, siblings, others and especially God. Learn to help a child doesn't want to forgive.

There are 2 freedom areas kids try to take when they haven't earned the freedom or can't handle the responsibility. The freedom's your kids have only exist because of what you allow them to do, choose, or say. Learn in this episode specific ways, to deal with these freedom areas proactively to help get your kids back inside the boundary areas you have laid before them.

Most parents would agree that being consistent when dealing with their kids bad behavior and attitude is probably their biggest struggle. Unfortunately, kids won't grow and mature in the way you want them to until you are consistent when working with them.
