Kelly & Justin are back to review our favorite coming-of-age movie, Rob Reiner's Stand By Me! Based on Stephen King's novella The Body, SBM tells the story of four 12-year-old boys who go off on an adventure to find the body of Ray Brower, who went missing a few days earlier. With excellent performances by Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, Jerry O'Connell, and Kiefer Sutherland, SBM is timeless, hilarious, poignant, and makes us reminisce about our own childhood and loss of innocence. We'll discuss the various child actors in the film, Kiefer, Stephen King's reputation for writing bad endings, and when we found our respective selves as teenagers.
So grab a cold drink, sit back, and hang out with us as we talk Stand By Me!
Alright, so we tried to record an episode about this monumentally hilarious film once before, and it didn't go well. Mostly because it was our second recording of the night, we started at 2am, and we were plastered. But we're back to make it right, discussing Anchorman, Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, David Koechner, Christina Applegate, and Fred Willard (RIP). Also we'll talk about Saturday Night Live, local beers, Manhattans, jazz flute, and much more! Join us for some fun as we resist the urge to simply quote the most quotable film of all time, Anchorman!

Kelly & Justin are back to discuss a 90s favorite, Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Sally Field and Gary Sinise, directed by Robert Zemeckis! Join us as we enjoy some local craft beers and talk about the movie, how we bonded over it very early in our friendship, why Gary Sinise is a real-life hero, how Justin got sick during a theatrical viewing of the film, why we don't agree with the movie's depiction of 1960s anti-war protesters, what we'd do if we had unlimited funds, and Forrest Gump's status as a popcorn film disguised as Oscar bait. Also, Justin gets a little tipsy by the end and has a Mexican standoff with our mean old cat. Sit back, open a beverage and have some fun with Parents' Night In!
Kelly & Justin are back to talk about the beloved original epic superhero film, Richard Donner's 1978 classic Superman, starring Christopher Reeve, Margot Kidder, Gene Hackman and Marlon Brando. Kelly in particular grew up with this film, watching it repeatedly at her grandfather's house and memorizing every moment. Justin became a fan much later, having grown up with Superman II but never giving the original its due. But both of us love it now, a throwback to a simpler time when superhero films were still very quaint and the idea of a big-budget blockbuster Superman movie was unheard of.
PNI is back for another live reaction video as Justin makes Kelly watch one of his childhood favorites, Predator! Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers and Jesse Ventura, this macho action/horror classic is essentially Alien meets Rambo. Buncha musclebound soldier dudes go into the jungle, an alien kills most of them, and there's an epic showdown at the end. Simple but effective, as anyone who's seen it knows.
Justin and Kelly are Quentin Quarantino'd during this COVID-19 crisis, so we're watching Quentin Tarantino's latest opus, the Oscar-winning Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, starring Leo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. This love letter to late-60s Hollywood centers around an aging TV star and his stuntman/best friend, set against the backdrop of the Sharon Tate saga. But as with all Tarantino films, OUATIH turns genre and history on their respective ears, amid memorable, stylized dialogue and characters you want to spend time with. So crack open a beverage and join us as we discuss the film, the time period, westerns, Leo & Brad, foot fetishes, and more!
Kelly & Justin are back to discuss the greatest of all gangster films, Francis Ford Coppola's masterpiece The Godfather. We'll cover Kelly's legitimate shock upon learning halfway through that Michael was played by Al Pacino (Nope, not kidding), the recurring harbinger of doom in the form of oranges, Mo Green's outRAGEous Boston accent, how Virgil Solozzo became known as The Turk, and Kelly invents a new form of dance. Get cozy on that couch and hang out with the PNI gang!
It's Wayne's World! Party on Justin! Party on Kelly! Join us as we review the best of all Saturday Night Live movies, starring Mike Myers and Dana Carvey, directed by Penelope Spheeris, and produced by Lorne Michaels. Part movie review, part discussion of random topics, we cover Alice Cooper, Milwaukee (Algonquin for "The Good Land"), the Sports Walkman, and lots of other funny stuff!

Pulled from the archives, this early PNI episode features Kelly & Justin discussing one of our favorite Marvel movies, the first Guardians of the Galaxy, while enjoying some of our favorite craft beer! Guardians of the Galaxy introduced the world to a host of wonderful, obscure MCU characters, creating a fun, exciting, unexpectedly hilarious entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Also, Kelly is scared of Thanos.....
Kelly and Justin watch JAWS, the original $100 million blockbuster, still one of the greatest films of all time, the movie that made everyone afraid to go in the water. The first of Steven Spielberg's many masterpieces, even after 40+ years Jaws exhilarates and terrifies. And we're here to talk about why that is...
