Park Life

Shane Phillips is currently the General Manager across Warner Bros. Movie World, Wet n Wild, Paradise Country and Australian Outback Spectacular, on Queensland's Gold Coast.  His life in theme parks began at the frontline, and his path to senior leadership across Australia's signature family entertainment hub is a fascinating story of resilience and passion.

Jolene Hill began her theme park career as a young trainee and has gone on to become a key leader in the business of making memories.  Like her father before her, and now her daughter, Jolene’s passion for her work remains as strong as ever.

Nathan Klassen's passion for the theme park business began at a very early age.  Today, as Operations Manager across both Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet n Wild on Queensland's Gold Coast, Nathan continues to realise the childhood dream of working in an industry he loves.  We spent some time together and unpacked his first ten years of living his very own 'park life'.

Andrew Cripps is a talented Live Show Announcer with SEA WORLD (Gold Coast, Australia) and actor within WARNER BROS. MOVIE WORLD.  In-between his creative work, he has a strong commitment to raising awareness on mental wellbeing.  He is a young man motivated to help people escape their troubles, for even a little while, whether it be through performance or the sharing of personal stories.  We sat last week and talked about his journey so far.

Welcome to the very first episode of PARK LIFE.  One Podcast, Many Conversations.  In this launch episode I sit down the Chief Operating Officer for Village Roadshow Theme Parks, Bikash Randhawa.  We take a trip through his journey so far, within the industry he loves.  Once again, welcome to the series and thanks for me joining me, your host, Michael Croaker.

Join me, Michael Croaker, Head of Entertainment with Village Roadshow Theme Parks, as each week we discover the people who bring the Australian Theme Park Industry alive.
