Target Audience This activity is targeted toward primary care physicians and advanced providers.
Statement of Need This podcast will provide an overview of the diagnosis and management of Parkinson's disease including screening guidelines to improve early recognition. In that early symptoms of Parkinson's disease can mimic other conditions, for early recognition a review of this will be highlighted. The goal of this podcast is to provide tools for early recognition and management to maintain a patient's quality of life. According to the Parkinson's Foundation, there are approximately 90,000 people in the U.S. diagnosed with Parkinson's each year, which represents significant increase.
