It is our faith in God that enables us to trust His guidance and deliver us

from difficulty.

Through Rahab's faithful understanding of how God will deliver her, she

finds that the future does not have to be dictated by her past.

Faith reminds us of the power and grace of God to deliver us from all of

our weaknesses.

Joseph had a life full of trials and blessing. He experienced both extremes

of very hard times and very good times. But he remained faithful to God and

God remained faithful to him.

Abraham obeyed God.

When God told Noah about things that he had never seen, Noah believed the word of God and did what God commanded him to do. Noah’s faith enabled him to faithfully follow God’s instructions even though he didn’t fully understand them.

Enoch was committed to God. He walked faithfully with God and continued to

seek God throughout his life. How can we walk as Enoch did?

This week, we discovered how Abel responded to God in faith.  His offering

to God provides an example, demonstrating to us that what we give to God is

just as important as the way in which we give.

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life.
