Hebrews 10:1-39. Ps Hilary Williams concludes the Better Than series in Chapter 10. In finishing his arguments for Christ, the author exhorts us to hang onto our faith. Our endurance is built on God's perfect faithfulness - and is helped as we encourage one another in community.

Hebrews 9:6-14. Ps Louis Baron considers the power of the blood of Christ. While the old sacrificial system only provided an outer washing, Hebrews reminds us that the shedding of Jesus' blood alone cleanses our conscience - and opens the way for us to know God and serve Him completely.

Hebrews 8. Anoj Joseph considers the supremacy of the new covenant. Not only is Christ a better priest, but He offers us a superior covenant, with lasting and eternal promises. And all of this is secured by the saving grace of Jesus.

Hebrews 7. Andrew Mihaleff considers Hebrews' study of Melchizedek, the priestly king in Genesis 14. This mysterious figure provides a great insight into Christ's perfect priestly reign - which should produce us in a deeper worship and gratitude for our matchless priest.

Hebrews 5:11-6:20. Ps Louis Baron considers Hebrews' exhortation to pursue spiritual maturity. While we are tempted to settle for laziness, God's plan for us is to grow in Christ. Encouragingly, the true believer's growth is fed by God's faithfulness, not their own ability.
