Retired San Diego Sheriff's Detective Benny Cruz shares his life story and legendary 42-year Law Enforcement career with the Imperial County Sheriff's Office and the San Diego Sheriff's Department in California. We will discuss his early days growing up in the Imperial Valley, his academy days, and his experience working in the Imperial County Jail, where he witnessed a jail rape and an attempted escape. He will also tell us about his early patrol days with ICSO and his experience with the San Diego Sheriff's Department.
