Part 5 of 5: Should I use Relative Humidity or Dew Point?

Listen Later

This is part 5 of a 5-part podcast series. Here we discuss why knowing the difference between Relative Humidity and Dew Point is extremely important.

Relative Humidity: Not a good measure of water in the air (absolute humidity). RH is the percentage of moisture in the air vs. how much it can hold. It answers the question, “how full is the container”?

Dew Point: The atmospheric temperature below which water droplets begin to condense, and dew can form. This is an accurate measurement of water in the air (humidity).
