Fresh garlic is effective against bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It is most effective against fungi and candida. Studies the University of Oklahoma have shown that garlic juice is as strong as certain antifungal drugs, and it is certainly safer.
Garlic is recommended for mild, recurring, or chronic infections that are not dangerous, such as infections of the mouth, ears, throat, stomach, or skin. It is effective against bronchitis, cystitis, thrush, colds, and particularly candida.
Did you know that there are three mushroom varieties - reishi, shiitake, and maitake, and that all mushrooms must be cooked to get the nutritional value?
