Today on the Irish and international stage of our PNP podcast we visit the beautiful soul that is Finbar 247. After he met us at our parking spot with a very warm welcome, he brought us into his studio in Woodquay, Galway. On entry the first thing that set fire to our souls was logs blazing from the wood burning stove and his incredible art that surrounded us. 

Finbar McHugh is an Irish treasure and an inspiration who started his personal journey of expression through graffiti street art. Following his inner guidance and creativity has led him to the space he is in today, a wonderful studio in Galway city where he creates abstract art and holds space for energy awareness. 

The conversation flowed from topic to topic and deep into the phenomenal phases of Finbar’s life. We chatted about transitioning from graffiti street art to abstract fine art, being commissioned for mindful art in Galway city's main hospital, living life from love over fear, travelling Europe as an artist and living in a campervan, your space being a reflection of your inner world, positivity, what success means for Finbar, and recognising your strengths.

Today on the Irish and international stage of our PNP podcast we chat to a man who considers himself a genius at many things. He loves an aul pint of Guinness and wrote his first song at thirteen years of age. Shortly after he thought himself how to play the guitar and is an absolute rockstar ever since. He has released three albums in his life, two of which were his own work and the other was a collaboration. He was in a band with his brother called, ‘The Hearty Boys’ and they gigged around London in the 1980’s.

His genius was also present in football where he broke records for being Arlington’s top striker. He scored the most goals in a season in the history of the whole club. The height of his genius came to fruition when his two beautiful children were born Dáron and Sarah Hearty. Partners in Positivity please help us welcome Mr Fran Hearty of, ‘The Hearty Boys’.

We chat about Fran’s life, being a top goal scorer, creating music from the young age of thirteen, the music revolution, being in a good mood, having the craic, doing what you want, the importance of freedom, playing pranks, letting go with a monthly dose of Guinness, empowering yourself, forgiveness, the vastness of the universe and Aslan's famous song.

Today we are conversing with a lovely lady who moved her whole life from Ireland to Scotland, then London and finally decided to follow her big heart back to the beautiful city of Edinburgh where she teaches Yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️ and is a Movement Enthusiast. Within the past year the soothing soul that is our Rachel Kelly established her own business, Rachel Ellen Yoga working online and offline. She serves her students with the wonderful work of Vinyasa Flow, Slow Flow and Yin, and much more. With every cell of her being she energises her students by empowering them to be still and present while engaging in the magic of sharing, moving, breathing and growing together. 

Rachel chats with us about the transformative power yoga has had on her life and the lives of her students. We discuss dreams, yoga, taking a leap of faith, kindness and compassion, clouds and sunsets, surrender, letting life move you, changing within, positivity rituals, and changing from perfectionism to giving yourself permission to make mistakes.

Episode 23🎙Aisling Burnett | You've got to pull the weeds before you plant the seeds. 

This week on PNP Sarah interviews Aisling. The brave soul that is our Co-Founder, Aisling Burnett decided to be raw, open and vulnerable in sharing the lowest point of her mental health journey years before the gals met. In an effort to help anyone that is currently suffering with their mental health Aisling gives a demonstration of the self improvement tool that led to the greatest shift for her in returning to her natural state of ease and happiness. What a gift. 

This gift is an alternative therapy, a take home therapy, a self improvement tool called Tapping otherwise know as E.F.T. aka Emotional Freedom Technique. For years Aisling experienced depression, panic attacks and chronic anxiety. She found many things to help her on her way including EFT. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is an alternative treatment for physical pain and emotional distress. It's also referred to as tapping or psychological acupressure. She absolutely loves learning and trained extensively in EFT. Aisling values healing and is delighted to help people with all that she’s learned along her own mental health journey. 

We discuss depression, panic attacks, anxiety, family support, support from friends, psychotherapy, self help seminars, tapping (EFT), mind-body connection, the thoughts we think, overcoming anxiety, dealing with emotions, shifting emotions by replacing depressing thoughts with happy emotions and creating a happy journal.

Episode 19 🍐 The Happy Pear. What is happiness for you?
This week on PNP we chat with a dynamic duo, Stephen and David Flynn aka The Happy Pear.

Over 14 years ago they literally set up shop selling vegetables, in Greystones Co. Wicklow after a period of time travelling the world connecting to what really matters most to them. The Happy Pear has now grown into a health and happiness movement online and offline. These gracious guys are authors of four books, youtubers with over thirty million views and are running six online health courses.

When they are not travelling you can find them every morning enjoying a sunrise swim in mother ocean where they’ve built an amazing sunrise community in Greystones close to The Happy Pear. They encourage and welcome people of all ages and cultures to experience the wonder that is the Irish Sea 🌊 

We talk about how their lives unfolded in this way, their travels, what does happiness mean, what does success mean, having more ease and authenticity daily, emotional education and blue zones.
